I don't mind lust. It is absolutely natural. We all act on lust sometime or another.
To sell it as a love story though, was off putting. The movie could have been much better if SLB invested a little time in connecting the two characters beyond their lust.
I guess the younger generation really enjoyed the raw physicality in the relationship. Real relationships do have a strong lust element. It is annoying when Bollywood glosses over sexual chemistry. Ranveer-Deepika did provide this element much better than most Bollywood movies. But people forget that its a balance. Without more you get bored after a few f**ks or make out sessions. You cannot make a love story without the characters actually falling in love.
