Some people who had automobile accidents were asked to summarize exactly what happened on their insurance form. The following quotes were taken from those forms.
- Coming home, I drove into the wrong house and colllided with a tree that I don't have
- I collided with a stationary truck coming the other way. The guy was all over the road; I had to swerve a number of times before I hit him.
- I had been driving my car for forty years when I fell asleep at the wheel and had an accident.
- My car was leagally parked as it backed into the other vehicle.
- An invisible car came out of nowhere, struck my car and vanished. I told the police that I was not injured but on removing my hat, I found that I had a skull fracture.
- The pedistrian had no idea of which way to go, so I ran over him.
