Freida Pinto who has arrived in LA to attend the Premiere of India's Daughter says that it is Rape Culture which shames the Country in front of western ppl and not their documentary. In an Interview to CNN in 2013 , Ms.Pinto famously said that even she could become rape victim in 'Incredible' India.

CNN: As a woman growing up in India, do these stories shock you?

Freida Pinto: Growing up in India, I remember picking up the newspaper almost every day, and by the time you reach the fourth and the fifth page, there'd be a little column in the corner that would be dedicated to a rape case that was reported.

And the sad part is that those rape cases are just reported, and there was no follow-up after that. It kind of made me wonder as a girl growing up in India if forever as a girl, I would have to live in the fear of this might just happen to me.

Its just sad hearing about the things that happen in India. I haven't really lived or grown up in the country, but its just unbelievable the way criminals can get away with their crimes and nothing is done to improve the state of the country. I have no words. I don't know how people decide to go down this dark and dirty path and be proud in calling themselves rapists and then blaming it on the victim. Shameless.

india you should have felt embarrassment and shame when a 23 year old girl was raped in your nation's Capitol at 9pm. Perhaps a shame and a heartache so deep to encourage change so it doesn't happen again. There is no conspiracy, the truth has been out for years! The only shame now is that you want a horrific event to be buried and forgotten. By banning this film you prove women do not hold any value in your society...And that should be your purest form of shame!
