Sid and Alia go on a movie date; Are they not watching Badlapur?

Alleged love-birds Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt were clicked at PVR today. While Alia flashed her dimpled smile for the paparazzi, Sidharth spoke to the press about his upcoming projects.

However, it is indeed surprising that neither Alia nor Sidharth have shown any support for buddy Varun's 'Badlapur' on any social networking site.

Recently, there were reports that Varun hugged Sid and ignored Alia at an award show. Varun later clarified that on that particular evening, he could only see Sidharth clearly as he was 'taller' than Alia. He also added that not only has his friendship with Alia taken a backseat but he had also distanced himself from family during the emotionally taxing Badlapur experience.

Well, do you think it is rather strange that there has been no words of praises for Varun's spectacular performance from his first two friends in the industry?

OK make up your mind gossip people. Yesterday Alia was promoting Badlapur by making her friends go watch. Today her and Sid are bad friends for not watching it. Really? Which is it?! 😆

Is Sid-Alia committed to Varun that they need to promote his film. Varun never does that for Sid-Alia, especially Sid. I'm glad they didn't mention anything about Badalpur😆

Sidharth has often tweeted and given interviews to support Varun. I'm not sure if he did for Badlapur, but I saw him tweeting about/supporting HSKD.

Yeah, I've noticed that, too. Varun never tweets about Sidharth's films, I think, although Sidharth has done the same for Varun in the past.

Yes, Varun has. I watched an interview of his when he was promoting Main Tera Hero - he asked people to watch Hasee Toh Phasee on Vday and Highway when doing IVs for MTH. And he attended the success bash of Ek Villain. For Alia - well, he's raved his head off about her performance in Highway and called it the best female performance of last year. So I don't agree when you say that he has never supported Sid or Alia but I do agree with you that they don't need to promote his films nor watch it if they don't want to. Everything is under such scrutiny.
