But Anarkali had some beautiful songs that are remembered even today

4.Jaag dard ishq jaag

5.Zindagi pyar ki do char ghadi hai

6.Mohabbat Mein Aise Kadam Dagamagae

& many others. In fact it was the music composed by C Ramchandra that made the movie so popular ...besides of course the lead pair of Bina Rai & Pradeep Kumar who were very popular at that time.

When the word "Epic" is mentioned I can only think of love stories like Mughal-E Azam ,Pyaasa , Amar-Prem and Guide kind of movies..

In recent times however I would say Lamhe,DDLJ,HDDCS and Lootera would be the ones...

Devdas is f**king underrated...the only movie where I cried..SRK was f**king fab

Gadar was great too

I guess I just have a soft spot for tragedy

Devdas, Heer-Raanjha & Romeo & Juliet are the ABSOLUTE WORST examples of love stories. There is absolutely nothing epic about falling in depression & killing yourself because of "love." 😡 🤢

They have yet to come up with the epic love story.

Most of the movies seem to be replicas of another. From the list I like only MPK, but even that one I wouldn't call it epic.
