I think all of them were good ..But I think DDLJ and kuch kuch hota hai were the best love stories movies ever in BW...

i find Veer Zaara an epic love story... it spans over years..and Yash Chopra was brilliant

For me the most epic would be the oldies, Mughel Azam and Pakeeza. Though I wish Saleem had stood up to his father more, so Pakeeza wins by some margin. Of course with Pakeeza I have to ignore the fact that the two were first cousins lol.

From your list, Hum Tum because as far as I remember it had the least amount of whiny characters lol. It fit well with the modern relatable approach of the movie.

I gotta say it has to have been Veer Zaara. I think it was very impactfull and a type of story we need to see more of. Trying to bring 2 cultures together.

Among the ones listed, i feel its Veer-Zara... Its not the best film on the list, but its definitely the most EPIC. The story spans for so many years and also involves massive sacrifices for the sake of love.
