Trust building is an ongoing process in any relationship. There are no constants... They may take a few step backwards but eventually move towards each other... These soul mates...
Yes she err'ed and that too on the trust issue. And this is why Manik withdrew immediately because he places trust above everything else.. And as you said he is complicated and to love him even more so...

Yes their love is extreme but then what's the fun without it...

" To love is human. To err thus comes along with it " Ana Chavez

Thanks for this positive read 👍🏼

Manik and Nandini are teenagers. They've known each other for barely 6 months and we expect them to magically have this unreprimandable and unconditional trust? Hardly.
Nandini does not trust Manik. Not fully.

Let me say that again. Not fully. Not the way he expects her to. She loves him. Yes. She trusts him with her life. I think so. She trusts him to love her. I think so.

But this is another faucet of trust.

As someone who knows Manik so well and loves him so much, it struck me hard when she had to go to Cabir to reassure herself that Manik is not capable of murder.

That was not Nyo playing with her emotions. Nyo didn't generate the mistrust. She only used it. Nandini did the one thing Manik cannot forgive, the one thing Manik considers above all - breaking his trust.

There are no two ways about this. She err'ed. She fell.

But is this the end of the road? HA! It is only the beginning.

These two are not perfect. Their relationship isn't perfect. They are learning and getting to know each other only bit by bit. Manik has huge trust issues, i don't think Nandini even knows the full extent of it. He's complicated and f*ed up in so many ways. (I mean that in the most loving way possible BTW) and she's only just gotten to the tip of the ice berg.

Let them fall and let them grow. It makes their journey that much more engaging.

Hi Bolt...

I agree with most...where I would differ is I felt Nandhini did not err...
Till the very end...she was sure of one thing...that Manik wouldnt murder someone intentionally...
But if it came to her Safety...would he have acted in Self-defense or in her defense ...that was the dilemma she faced...
When faced with immediate life threatening danger to Self or Loved ones...normally people do all that they can to stop it...and Nandhini here was shown even video proof of it...
So her even thinking there might have been an accident or an act of self defense/or in her defense ...no way breaks the Trust that she has in Manik and infact reinforces where she believes he would do anything to protect her...
And finally in the Magistrate office she is asked to speak the Truth...she speaks it...She is not sure...firstly she didnt see it...Secondly she does not know how far he can go to Save her...Thirdly...She cannot Lie ...its not in her character...

It takes only a moment of weakness, confusion, bravery, madness for your life to take a turn. It took only a moment, a small seed of doubt. She brushed it off the very next second...but before she did...the words came tumbling out of her mouth.
The state of confusion her mind was in, replaying all the scenes of violence vs goodness, the utter desperation to save him, to protect him and add to that overwhelming all consuming love. Her mind was bound to be spinning like an epileptic in a strobe light convention. and she said what she did, in that one tiny moment of slow down.

And he picked up on it. Because he is Manik. Because he believes that Nandini should have had absolute trust in him.

They are both not wrong, and they are both not right. It was that moment. The situation. The circumstances. And the real test of any relationship, is how to survive these moments, situations and circumstances and come out stronger, braver and more in love than ever.

They have a long way to go...and they will walk together side by side, humesha. He may get mad, she may get angry, but they will come through for each other. It is fated.
