I finally caught up on Sunday's episode of NCW, and it was an interesting episode. I first I was not able to gather what the message was, and I also thought something was wrong with Bablu's health. I also thought at one point BD was not going to get his vacation approved, and I thought maybe the theme for today might be to be to talk directly for your needs. The scene with his boss was hilarious! 🤣 I thought BD was going to get fired for sure! 😆😆
Anyways, it's a very good point and done in a light manner about how we as human beings discount our sins and bribes according our needs, and it also brought into light how we do all of these rituals and things (especially in Hindu households) thinking God wants us to do this or that we are pleasing God. For example, I personally do not believe that going to the Ganga River will rid me of my sins, but so many other people believe that. If you have committed a sin, it's a sin no matter what you do. There are though, some sins we commit due to situational reasons, like how BD had to give the money for the bribe to the officers on the train. He knew it's a sin to give bribes, but he had to give in in order for his family to travel on the train. He felt very guilty about having to give it, but Shivaye's message to BD at the end was very nice. I will have to watch that part again because I do not remember it so well.
It was interesting how they challenged our belief system like that. 🥱
