Shreyas Talpade & Daisy Shah - in Palaash Muchhal s movie.
I totally agree with you, Tulip. Shivaye's message to Bhagu(😆) was clear and true. In our culture, we tend to believe that going to the Ganga River (Idk what else to call it, so I am calling it that cause you did😆) will clear us of our sins. What Shivaye said though, actually made me think that he is right. Why do humans want the mother (in this case the river) to clear them of all their sins? Do they stop to think that maybe they are insulting the river?
Besides, like you said a sin is a sin, and going to the river isn't gonna help. I personally believe that doing things like this doesn't get someone anywhere, but the least you can do is do good deeds and spread happiness. That won't help your sin go away, but at least you've regretted it, and decided to take steps into the positive direction. And that's doing something good in itself. 😛
