Well the theme of the show is slowly emerging. That too clearly. Last 2 epi were testimony to that. How would you bring transformation in society. Is it by sitting at home and discussing why things are happening the way they are. Is it by running so many debates in TV why x did this or y did that. Or by doing something. There is an adage " Be the Change". For you to be that change you have to take some hard decisions. Decisions that can have long lasting impact. if you fail yes people will blame you. But if you succeed then you bring in the real transformation.
It is an Everest itself. A journey so unlike that when you reach the summit you understand that it was worth taking it. Having walked a Mini Everest myself I know what it feels, to stand in the summit to look back and understand yes without you knowing what you did, you did leave your foot prints for others to follow. You create trust and to create trust within a large group of community you have to work within the norms of the society yet become radical. Difficult but not impossible. Just like Anjali and Aakash proved it.
Anjali with her mother's permission goes to complete her father's unfulfilled mission. Jagat is angry at first. But then as the world starts acknowledging his daughter he slowly realizes. He sees the inspiration his daughter is becoming into and finally in Mon epi we see the proud father in him emerging when he says Anjali summit ke liye jaa rahi hai. Yes Anjali has remained a dutiful daughter, yet she did break some norms to take up a journey and bring in transformation. Once again proving you don't need to be a doormat or a person without self respect to uphold the values or sanskaars as most daily soaps are preaching.
Aakash with his vertigo and acrophobia the love for his adopted mother made him take this ardous journey. He was always questioned by the society on his loyalty to Shika Maa because he has held responsible for her son's death. or the society believed he didn't try enough to save Gaurav. But instead of thinking what society thought about, he looked at the love and trust given by Shika Maa and for her he went all out. And even while being away, taking care of Shika Maa's problem he too proved he is her son. Yes he is not her blood, but he is no less than her own blood. The change in Seema Mausi by seeing how the lad has stood for her sister in her hour of need is noteworthy. It is Aakash's victory. it is Shika Maa's victory of trusting Aakash. Aakash delivered on her trust in the hour of need. By delivering he too brought about a transformation.
Now it is Rungta and Arjun and we need to see how these people transform. Everest will transform them too. But the larger message is, if you want to see change be the change agent. Break stereotypes and chalk out your own path for others to follow.
