MY god...that's called confidence...pocket mein chavanni, aur tashan mein koi kami nahin...
"Mere paas ek doctor hai, jo tumhara ilaaj kar sakta hai" MERE PAAS EK DOCTOR HAI? DO WE KEEP DOCTORS IN THE CUPBOARD, OR DRAWERS? "Consultation ki fees zyada nahin hai...par...4-5 LAKH ka kharcha bharna padega surgery ke liye..." Shagun tells him, as she meets him outside...She's handed him a card, with the farzi doctor's name and number on it...Romi's mulling it over and mistakenly drops the card...
Ishita steps in, picks up the card that's fallen from Romi's hands...he fibs that its Bunty ki shaadi ka card' and snatches it back from her, before she could see the name and number on it. Which WEDDING CARD on this planet is 2*4 cms?? Im sure Ishita didn't buy Romi's explanation...but then, am amazed why Romi would give such an explanation in the first place...Anyway, its worth noting that Shagun has already planted a wonderful idea in Romi's head, to arrange finances from the Accounts department in Raman's company...Wow...it doesn't take two and two to figure out where it will all lead...
The fake-smiley-cum-forced civility wala conversation between the Sautens didn't make me take notice whatsoever...Why are they making it SUCH a Sauten wala drama?? Where is the classiness GONE?? Ishita's supposed to be WORKING, INDEPENDENT WOMAN busy with her WORK, having a LIFE of her own, instead of "Main iss ghar ki bahu hun, toh mera farz banta hai naa...ki main nazar rakhun ki kaun kya karta hai, kya sochta hai, yada yada"
Amma is JUST as nosy as her stupid daughter...poring into Appa's office files and discussing the huge amounts due on Raman's credit card...well...no surprise there...the tens and thousands of shopping each day are attributed to the truckloads of gadgets and toys and Godknowswhat, Shagun fetched her greedy, spoilt son...At the moment, Ishita admonishes her mother that it isn't right to be browsing through Appa's office papers...but she while cleaning Adi's cupboard, she finds it in a huge mess...gadgets worth THOUSANDS...scattered and piled up in a mess inside the cupboard...
Meanwhile, Shagun, who just got to know from the worker outside - that the Bhallas have deliberately been getting the same room painted over and over again, is furious, and storms inside Bhalla House..to be precise, Adi's room...confronts Ishita...and Mrs. Bhalla, instead of telling her to stay away from the premises of Bhalla House, went into a diatribe into how she's spoiling her son's future by spending shitloads on him...how its her 'hak' t be worried about Adi and the amount spent on him, since he's Raman's son and she is Raman's WIFE...blah blah...
Shagun, who storms back into the Iyer house, sees Appa looking around for his files and hears Amma telling him the files are lying on the dining table...finding an opportune moment, she picks it up from the table, browses through hurriedly...and understands where all the mess is coming from...how Ishita got to know about the purchases SHE Has made on Raman's CC...she concludes that Ishita has PLANTED APPA IN RAMAN'S OFFICE TO KEEP AN EYE OUT ON HER EXPENSES...I mean, HOW MUCH MORE OBSSESSED CAN ANYBODY BE ABOUT THEMSELVES???
From there, she AGAIN storms off to Raman's office...and the minute she's seated...she starts taking off her expensive earrings and bangles in a very, "Mere paas paise nahin sahukaar sahib, yeh gehne girwi rakh lijiye aur mujhe paise de dijiye' type...VERY GAWAAR...AND DOWNMARKET THAT BIT WAS...Im glad Raman asked her to shut her trap and atleast be dignified about it...
"Agar tumhen itni hi problem hai mere kharchon se...toh mujhe directly bol diya hota...Appa ko yeh sab Ishita ko batane ki kya zaroorat thi" or something like that..Raman feels she's kinda right...albeit, it was said in a very dramatic manner...and decides he'll have a word with Appa about it...
While walking out of the office, she sees an office staff handing Appa a bag containing 5 lakhs...pata nahin Shagun ke dimaag mein kaunsi ghatiya khichdi pak rahi hogi...
Romi's wondering how Shagun's had a change of heart, all of a sudden, and helping him...then he does some MAJOR self-talk in his head and wonders why she would lie to him...since she has nothing to gain from it..SO WRONG, SO WRONG...WATS WRONG WITH THIS BHALLA PARIVAAR? DON'T THEY EVER LEARN THEIR LESSONS?
Anyway...as he decides he'll give it a shot and call the "doctor", Ishita comes to speak to him...she tries to sound like an understanding, friendly Bhabhi who is bold enough to be a privy to her dewar's most sordid secrets...but unfortunately (I dunno for WHOM) Romi signs off on "Bunty ki Shaadi hai naa, woh...bahut sara kaam rehta hai naa Bhabhi" and "Bhabhi...Bhaiyya sahi kehte hain ki aap aajkal Jagga Jasoos ban gayi ho" and zips his mouth shut. There. The end of story.
When Appa arrives, unsuspecting, and all professional...Raman skirts around a bit about keeping "personal and professional lives separate" and requests him not to discuss his transactions with Ishita...Poor Appa...Of course, he's embarrassed as hell and cant even say its coz of his nosy wife that he's in such a predicament right now...but ...well...he assures Raman it wont happen ever again...
After Appa leaves, Raman goes into a mini-guilt trip about having to talk about such an uncomfortable thing with Appa...and is pissed that Shagun's the one to blame for all this "Jab tak yeh Shagun meri zindagi mein rahegi...main chain se nahin reh paaungi' IS IT ROCKET SCIENCE TO FIGURE OUT THE BIT&^ IS THE CORE PROB? WHAT IS STOPPING HIM TO CHANGE SHAGUN'S CURRENT LAVISH, LUXURIOUS STATUS RIGHT NOW? Yaar...jab kuc karna nahin hota status quo change karne ke liye, toh bol ke kya fayda...
PRECAP - Appa talks it out with Ishita...regrets his decision of working for Raman since he was always worried personal relations may fall in line, owing to professional blunders...even accuses his wife of poking her nose in his office matters...
Im wondering...when Romi starts thieving, and the blame falls on Appa...will it AGAIN take NUCLEAR PHYSICS and BIOTECHNOLOGY and yada yada to understand its all the VAMP's doing??
You cant get a snake right in the garden and think it'll become your favourite pet, just coz you've been feeding it creamy milk..DUH!
P.S. Raman looked exceptionally HOT today...all black...and that unshaved look...but what use is a HOTTIE if the plot's going off in divergent directions??
