Recap-
"Not here. Now we are going there only."
That was when she noticed that the roads did not lead them to her place, but his.
'Oh, sentimentally, he wants to tell it in his place. Not a bad idea!'
Part-3:
They entered in.
He took her hang bag from her and placed it on the teapoy in the hall. This time he took her hand and led her to a room.
He opened the door and entered in.
She stood there and wondered.
It was a bedroom.
He put his gun on a high rise table and turned to her.
He smiled at her and reached her.
He looked at her keenly a moment with a grin as she raised an eyebrow.
He said, "One minute,"
He turned away as she thought,
'Probably a kiss!'
He sat on the edge of the bed and leaned down to remove his shoes.
She could not help but smile.
For her it was the first time, she was standing boldly, but he was nervous.
'See, in his nervousness, he can't see the simple fact that one doesn't have to remove shoes to kiss.'
He looked up and said, "Come in Sakshi, sit!"he patted the bed.
'Once you said it, we can sit and talk the whole night. Say it, Arjun!'
She could not stand the butterflies in her stomach. She knew it was adrenaline.
He once again looked up and raised an eyebrow as she was still standing.
'Oh, God! He wants everything in his own way.'
She sat down on the bed, 'Right, now say it out.'
At last he straightened up and once again smiled at her appealingly and got one back.
"Ready?"
She nodded.
She did not trust her words then.
Instead of coming near her to hug and kiss her and tell her and smile at her, he extended a hand toward her.
She was ready to give in, but she needed at least two reassuring words, for her satisfaction. As he got that she was hesitating, he cleared his throat to urge her.
He is going to tell now, at last!
Then he said, "Come on Sakshi, it's getting late!"
She could not understand a word he spoke then.
She looked at him in confusion. She could not believe what she was witnessing.
He touched his shirt button.
If it was another day and another place, she would have laughed at that. But not now!!
How? God, for devil's sake, HOW?
He was- he was calling her...
...FOR- FOR REAL!
She snapped.
She could not breathe suddenly.
She could not claim that she had heard him wrong, for she did not think her two senses would fail her at a time.
She had seen him touching his buttons.
To her annoyance, she was looking at him in the eyes.
"Arjunn!!" she whispered as her throat went dry suddenly and had started aching.
But the eyes were blocked by tears.
She was trying hard to blink them back.
"What?"
He asked skeptically.
Meaning- Meaning, he had thought she would...
Ha, how casually he urged, as though she was his...
'Oh, God, sometimes you are just giving heart attacks, but not the actual death!'
'You can blame every one; bewail for everything; dry the tears- LATER!'
'Now, you've to act; you've to do something; prove yourself, before he prepares himself for the next move.'
'Don't give him a chance, Sakshi! You know well, you are not equal to him in any way now- she got the point very late.
'Move, before it's too late. Act, before this churning of the heart draws in!'
Now or never!
She knew it well, now.
She came to her feet like a spring. The first thing she saw was the gun on the table.
She lunged forward to it and picked it up.
Woh, she had not thought it, even once that a gun would weigh a ton.
She took it with both hands and turned toward him in a flash.
But she thought as though time had started poking along and creased at that point. She thought she was doing this all in an unimaginable slow- motion.
'If it's a bad dream, please, please anyone wake me up, NOW!' her senses screamed.
But she was dead silent.
She knew well, he could get the gun from her in no time.
Exhaustion started fogging her mind and she was going to lower the gun herself.
That was when he said with a smile, "What, you are going to shoot me?"
He said derisively.
She blinked the tears and stood cocked. But she realized then that, 'She can't shoot him!'
He took a step forward with that smile still on.
She started talking to her surprise.
"No! No Arjun. Don't!"
If he had lent an ear at once, he was not Arjun- she knew.
Suddenly, she changed her mind in a split second and it gave her more pleasure than she felt at the restaurant.
She put the gun to her head steadily.
Part-4:
A woman is not written in Braille. You don't have to touch her to know her.
That stopped him.
He frowned and looked at her helplessly.
And she could hold the gun in single hand as everything seemed light and easy now.
She saw the terror forming in his eyes slowly. It gave her a satisfaction strangely.
How sad it was, when she had come here to see his happiness and to make him happy, she was now standing there with a gun to her head and feeling satisfied in his trouble!
He started talking and she had stopped talking then.
"Sakshi!"
She could see the confusion in his eyes clearly.
"Please," he started pleading he then, "See, I' won't come near you. Drop it, now," he whispered.
If she stayed a moment longer-No! -she did not trust herself-she made her mind.
She moved backwards and reached the door.
She went out and closed it behind her.

She could not believe that she was still sane when the taxi came to a stop in front of the address she gave.
She paid the taxi and got the change. But still the sound of waves slapping in her ears constantly did not go away.
Once the taxi went away and gone, she turned to go, but did not know where.
The street where she was standing now seemed as though it was quite new for her.
Although she knew, the house had to be there somewhere, just that she could not find it out at the moment.
No matter, how hard she tried, nothing came to her mind. She thought if someone could help her- to -find-out-her house, it would be helpful. She would not forget them forever. But she did not know what to do with the one thing that she could not erase, let alone forgetting...
She tried to think- clearly. If this burden pressing the heart like a mountain, just gave way a bit, she thought she could do so.
She started to go away and when it hit her mind that she had once had a mobile with her.
She looked down at her bag and felt something heavy was inside, but definitely not heavy like the heart inside her.
She opened her bag and found a silver object flashing in the street light. She could not recognize it, if it was hers or not, but saw a glimpse of a key...
Key!
This should open something, she wished.
When she lifted her head she found-God, found a house there standing in the dark.
Nimbly she reached the door and when the lock clicked in, she was surprised and laughed aloud in excitation.
'She has found the house!'
Once found a light switch, she saw a teapoy there.
She thought she had seen a teapoy once, somewhere, and it all started again...

He was standing there in shock for a long minute.
Except his eyes everything was motionless.
He should not have brought his gun into the room, in the first place, he realized.
She had shaken him to the core, he was sure.
He swore under his breath.
He definitely did not expect the sudden twist.
He did expect everything, but not this.
He thought she would resist, but the gun was too much to his imagination.
The gun!
'My Goodness, the gun!!'
He reached the door in two quick steps and wrested the door, in the thought that it had to be locked in the other side.
BUT-NO-IT-WAS-NOT!
It came to his tug easily and he was thrown against the wall behind. His head hit on the wall as a punishment for his mistake.
He shook his head and ran outside.
He stopped short as his gaze fell on the thing on the teapoy, besides the unopened box of chocolates, his gun was- there, silent, alone-Just was reflecting him.
