Part-5:
No matter how good you try to be to others, you will occasionally hurt them. Forgive yourself for it.
He could see everything around him.
He could understand the unspoken words behind the smiles and looks.
And he knew, it had no future too.
He thought if he could do anything to stop it...
He decided to do something to stop it.
If he could make her realize ...
If he could talk to her once...
If she could find that he was not as good as she thought he was...
In fact, he was afraid when she was about to lower the gun.
He took a step forward and it was enough for her to be bold as he expected. But putting that bloody gun to her head was like his nightmare had come true at last.
He had definitely shattered at that.
He had not thought once that a gun could be that much fatal before.
He would have confessed to her that it was all nothing but his worst show, had not she made her mind fast. She moved toward the door. He thought if she wanted it that way he would comply with her.
He slumped on the sofa as his left hand numbly tried to unbutton the top button of his shirt in real, as he felt as though there was no air flow around him and was still looking the gun on the teapoy.
This scene is the continuation of the first part:
Two days later to the article scene:
We got a bomb threat in a school and we rushed there.
We found and diffused it successfully.
After sending the bomb squad away Arjun heard a, 'Kien- Kien- Kien' sound behind.
'What now?'
He turned and found a boy standing before a class room and was crying helplessly.
He reached the boy in quick strides and started comforting him, "Stoh, stoh, stoh-it's ok, it's ok, darling! It's over, it's over now. See, you can play now, dance now, you can-"
The boy was not listening; but, was busy in crying.
No matter, how many times he dried the flow of tears, it was not lending an ear to him just like the boy himself.
When he was thinking of the next move, he turned to see if anyone would help him there.
The boy started talking in his crying voice, "He pinched me," he pointed toward the empty class room.
"Right, we'll sue him dear, for sure," he picked up the boy as the boy looked him strangely, "Let's get out, ok?", he added.
As he descended the steps from there, he felt a tug on his pants.
He turned to see another boy standing there.
The boy extended his hands to say, 'Pick me up too!', as though he was a share- auto.
He obeyed and picked him too.
He surmised that he had to be in the empty class room somewhere.
The first boy started in a crying voice, "He pinched me," pointing an accusing finger toward the other boy.
The second boy said, "He tore my note book!"
"He took my pencil!"
"He did not give me the chocolate!"
"He-"
"Ok, ok. Ok! O-k! We'll discuss this later!"
He stopped them, before they could read the past year's history.
When he came out of the gates, he saw within the ten minutes the parents had hobbled up together once heard the news.
A woman came forward and took the crying boy from him.
The boy started, "Mommy, he pinched me!"
Arjun smiled and thought, before his men finished enquiry and opened the school again he would forget the fight, for sure.
The mother looked at him dubiously.
"Oh, not me mother! This fellow!"
He pointed the boy in his hand.
The woman smiled and went away.
He turned and a snap was clicked.
Arakshi Mini-FF: Don't fall. Rise in Love!
Part-6:
Don't judge me for my choices when you don't understand my reasons.
The first few hours after a crime were more important and I was assigned to be there in the spot with Chottu. We were digging.
.~.
Sakshi heard a voice behind and turned to see a drunken was following her, even though he was swinging badly.
He prattled, "Wait, I'm coming,", but moved sideways as he tried to walk toward her.
Terror got her and she turned to move fast from there.
To her annoyance, he too was moving fast now.
"Stop, please!"
She thought to show him that she was not helpless, at that point.
She took her mobile out.
She jumped as the voice behind, heard very near her now. She heard him say, "Drop me in the house," with his words running into each other.
'Oh, God!'
She saw a public booth and ran toward it.
She locked inside, sat down and pressed her mobile to her ear.
.~.
He was in the car and was going back to the spot.
He was thinking about that day's events.
The day had started quietly long before the bomb threat.
They were working on a case of a homicide.
Everyone was busily working on it, but just on the surface. He could still feel that something was pressing everybody hard in the bottom.
Though they were working sincerely, they were not happy or satisfied in their minds.
He, himself was realizing it lately that the life was becoming harder day to day.
He could see that his staff were doing what they were said, but not whole heartedly and he knew the reason behind that too.
She!
Once started, he could not stop the thoughts from flowing, from 'that day' on...
Even though they changed the accusing looks fast, before his gaze could fall on them, he could still sense them on him.
He had started thinking that he could have waited some more-he could have dealt it with some more patience- for some time now...
Like a light, she was there attracting everyone towards her.
With her smile she was there giving them the spirit of life.
He could feel it was like giving sight to a blind and wresting it once again unjustly, without a word.
When she was dull, when she was not talking, smiling, commenting she stopped making them smile, talk, comment.
Once the light was gone, the lamp was standing there, in the dark, alone, now.
The spirit of life was gone with her. She had hid it from them; she had refused to admit it.
If he had a chance he would ask her to give it back, for the sake of him-them.
He corrected.
Even from the moment the plan started forming in his mind, he knew this would not go out from her, he could trust her for that, but he could not tolerate their silence now. Her silence, in other words.
If he could change anything he would happily do it now, he decided.
He wanted to talk to her, if he could talk to her. And that was when he got a call from her.
He could not believe that life was giving him what he thought he wanted, right away.
Before the surprise went away, he put the mobile to his ear.
