Salaam Namaste and welcome to IFs very own and very First Read-Away Marathon.

Well its as simple as the name suggests... Read Away! Ok ok ill explain more

See, im sure all of u know about writer's corner don't you? WEll as far as i aed around (to my circle of friends!) they didnt know about it...

So as the name suggests, writers corner is for writers AND readers... for those of u who dont think they write well enough but love to read can go and check this forum out and leave ur comments for budding young authors...

And those of u authors out there can come here for anything! I mean writing is not only fiction... Non-fiction and essays and all are part of writing arent they... so bring on anything u have with you and show us what ur worth and how much...

So yea talking bout Read-Away Marathon... Writers corner has a fair bit of stories for us to get this idea kick-started... We are going to pick one story a month and that will be the Read-Target of the month.

And well reading is what evryone can do so you guys can read the Target OF The Month and discuss it right here in the topic we make...

Its a way of helping the author improve on her writing and u know giving her ur feedback... though the feedback is as such given in the topic and the story/writing and its styles are discussed here...

So for the first time we picked Chasing The Indian Dream... and that is beacuase its one of the more popular stories on WC and the writer gives fairly spaced updates too...

Coming to CTID...the most unique thing about it is it's Indian-ness. You're thrown right into a big huge over loaded joint Indian family 😆 😆

The writing style is good, but it can improve 😊 It has several hints to other love stories which is very cute. The main two protagonists themselves, are nicely sketched characters.

I like some of the issues it addresses...about arranged marriage system in India, and how it can affect people sometimes. The main lead's disdain of the typical Indian regressiveness, while still being proud of her Indian-ness is the best thing about it! 😉 👏

well i agree with harshu/vaish..as such i love ur writing style and story line..i just love the fact that its indian..i dont think ive ever read such a story with indian characters before..
as for improving,well theres always room for improving i say...but im unable to spot where u need to improve 😆..ur characters/storyline are extremeeelllly good...i agree that the more recent bits were filmy,but with the whole indian flavour,the filminess seemed to fit somehow n i kinda liked it 😆...i mean dont overdo it of course 😉 but now n then im sure its acceptable 😃 u rock re urs is certainly one of the best here at WC n im sure u can keep it up 🤗
