Part 6"What can I do??! He didn't listen to me.. I pestered him to come to that banquet but he refused. And even diverted the route.. I think he is suspicious over me.." she reasoned on the phone.
"No I tried... but he was adamant.. and then he got us back to the apartment.." she said.
"Yes I wil try.." she said as she disconnected the phone and let out a deep breath of relief and turned back.
She stood stunned seeing RK standing behind her with a confused and hurt face.
"What is all this Madhu?" He asked.
FlashbackA woman in a black pant and black coat entered an office building with confident steps and stride. The employees sitting around greeted her with an almost scared expression and she just gestured them a reply with a no nonsense look on her face. She had her hair falling on her shoulders and even they seemed to be too disciplined.
She entered through a glass door in a big cabin. A man stood infront and looked at her.
"Agent Malik.." he said as he forwarded his hand to greet her and Madhu too shook his hands.
"Good evening Sir.." she said with a business like look on her face.
"Good evening.. So we have a new mission planned for you.." he said with a smile.
"I am ready Sir!" She said with a nod.
"You know RAW works as a secret organization and our missions are equally secretive but what is not secret is that we work to save our country and developing ways and methods to safegaurd this country is what charts top for us.." he said as he moved to the chair.
"Yes Sir.." she said.
"Have a look on this file" he said forwarding her a file. "Its the details of a man Rishabh Kundra.." he said.
Madhu opened the file and started reading it. Rishabh Kundra.. age 29 years... lives in bandra, mumbai.. Cartoonist and animator by proffession..
"Seems like a normal civilian sir?" She asked confused.
"Yes. He seems like any normal civilian.. but he is not.." the General said with a smile and raised eyebrows.
"Is he involved in some terrorist.." she asked with a frown and disgust forming on her face.
"No... He is not involved in any such activity.." the general said.
"Then?" Madhu could bo more stand the suspense.
"He seems like a normal civilian but he is very special. He has certain powers.. certain powers that surpass human capability. He is gifted with things that we cant possibly imagine.."
"What powers?" She asked confused.
"Actualy we dont know much about all that.. but certain activities have been noted around him that are unusual. One or two of the CCTV cameras noted it too but he was too fast to get properly filmed."
"Maybe its just a misunderstanding"
"We are almost sure Agent Malik.. but then we want to know it in certainty and also if its true then what exactly he does..?"
"What do I have to do sir?"
"well this mission can get a little personal.." he said cautiously.
"What does that mean?".
"Amm.. you will have to go there.. live like a normal girl and have friendship with Rishabh Kundra.. Try to know about him.. as much as possible and then get him to us.."
"What does RAW plan for him?"
"Maybe some investigations on his lineage.. his birth.. and ofcourse his DNA.. if he has some wrong links and most importantly how he can be used to improve country's defence. "
"Cant we just ask him?"
"Is RAW that easy Agent?" He said chuckling at her. "What if he has some terrorist or foreign links..? We ofcourse cant take such a chance.."
Madhu nodded hearing him. "When do I have to get on it Sir?" She asked in a harsh military tone.
"Tomorrow!" The general said.
The next day Madhu came to the building where Rishabh Kundra lived. She walked to the door which had his name written in a quite a creative way. Yes he was an artist.. what else.. she said to herself with a smile. She entered her apartment in the same confident stride and looked around the men keeping her items around. She thought for sometime and then looked at the brown box.
"You!" She pointed at a man who stood close to the box. "Keep it on that shelf.." she pointed at the high shelf near the roof. The man immediately followed her orders. The men went away and Madhu sighed in relief. She felt as if coming out of her strict demeanour. She stretched her arms and went to her suitcase. Taking out a bubble comfortable night suit, she got into it. Went to the mirror.. put on a bit of make up and yes she admitted she was looking cute and beautiful.
"Rishabh Kundra.. Here comes your Madhubala.." she said smirking at the mirror happily and rushed outside the door.

END"You are an agent?!" RK asked in shock as he was now sitting on his sofa with a confused expression.
"Yes... Rishabh I.. " she said trying to explain afraid that he might get angry at her.
"what do you plan to do with me?" He asked in an angry and disgusted tone.
"Nothing Rishabh listen to me?"
"Listen to you? A treacherer? Here I was planning a happy life and you were just playing with my emotions?" He asked her angrily.
"No Rishabh.. The agency wants you... You have powers which can be used for the country.." she said trying to get on the topic.
"Use? Yes that's what matters to you people. How to use someone?"
"I didnt mean that.. Rishabh why dont you come with us? Serve the country?!" She said.
"Why cant I do my bit for the country in my way?! Why do you people believe that being for the country only means working in army or police? I am doing my bit and I don't need to prove it to anyone. I want a normal happy life.." he screamed frustrated.
"But Rishabh you are not normal.. you are special.."
"Do hell with being special!! I hate this special! It made my parents keep moving places.. We couldnt settle anywhere because their damned special son caused so much attention to them.. They tried safegaurding me all their lives.. I just want to live a normal happy life." He almost screamed in frustration.
"But Rishabh why hide something with which you can serve your own country?" She argued.
"Dont the doctors engineers teachers architects work for the country?! And I dont need to tell or prove what I have done.. If I am not standing on a hilltop with a cape around my neck and calling myself a messiah doesnt mean I havent ever used my capabilities to help anyone.."
"You have?!" She asked surprised.
"Why are you here? Why did you not let me get captured by RAW? Why did you change your mind suddenly?" He asked in a straight business like tone now. He didnt feel this as the same Madhu he was madly in love with a few minutes back.
"Because I dont want to get you trapped.. I want you to make your own good choice instead of being forced into anything.." she said with eyes downcast as she felt guilty both for lying to RK and betraying her job.
"Get Out!" RK said in a cold tone.
"Rishabh.." she looked up at him confused.
"You wanted me to make a choice? When? When they would have caught me and kept me in bondage? When would you have told me all this?" He asked angrily.
" But Rishabh I did tell you.."
"Because I overheard you... Otherwise who knows what you and your agency planned for me... killed me to make me a guinae pig of your laboratory?!" He said with a hateful and disgusted face.
"No.." she interrupted trying to defend herself.
"Get out Miss Malik!" RK said in a dangerously calm tone.
"No.. I won't.. I want to talk.." she said stubbornly.
"Get out!! I dont want to see your face!" He screamed
"No!" Madhu said stubbornly as she kept sitting.
Suddenly RK's eyes started to turn red and then green as he stared at her intently while Madhu looked at him horrified. His gaze intensified as did the frown on his face. Suddenly Madhu felt light. As if her ground slipping from beneath. She looked down and found herself risen in the air half an inch above the sofa. She looked at RK shocked. RK frowned seeing as he moved his eyes even higher and Madhu now hung half way above the sofa. He directed her towards the door while Madhu helplessly looked at him. She didnt want to go but she had nothing in control.
"Rishabh.." she could only request.
Hearing his name from her mouth he felt even more angry. He felt all the betrayal being slapped on his face. He had loved her so dearly and she was just playing with his emotions to get some medal in her career. He got furious and with a hard bang threw Madhu out of the door. She landed on the wall opposite his door while the door banged shut. Her shoulder hit the wall and she flinched in pain. As much as she had known that he has powers still she didn't believe what just happendd. Was that even possible? But the pain reminded her that it was true for sure. She stood up as she held her shoulder with the other hand and moved to her apartment
