Rani is leagues ahead of Priyanka and Kareena in terms of contribution to Indian cinema. She's given us many more power pact performances to the industry during her time. She may not be an international icon like Aishwarya, but she has given an abundant amount to the Indian film industry, in my opinion. She is miles and miles ahead of Priyanka and Kareena - who in my opinion, are highly overrated especially PC.

Aishwarya never deserved it, Madhuri did. Madhuri's impact on Bollywood has been legendary. She's not only been a great actresses who has been praised to the max, but she's a terrific performer & a fabulous dancer as well. In other words, she's an all rounder. Aishwarya is known more for her looks and her international fame. Her contribution to Bollywood has been very limited, in my opinion. Sure she's had some great films to her name. She used to act well back in the 90s, but she's never made that much of an impact to me as an actress. She's more known for her beauty, charm, and an international brand icon.

If anyone does deserve it, its probably actresses like Sridevi, Karisma, Juhi, Rani, even Kajol. These actresses have proved themselves in various roles during their peak. They have left a mark in the industry that many will remember down the road. Its a prestigious honor and very few deserve it.

PC aur Kareena to door ki baat hai. They have a long long long way to go.

I feel PCs contribution has been equivalent to Rani, Kajol, Juhi, Karishma etc etc. Dont discount her just because shes from the newer generation. Theres nothing wrong with her as an actress and shes proven her mettle time and time again. From fashion to Mary Kom to Barfi. shes diverse and has made a contribution to the cinema. If she plays a flowerpot in a movie she makes sure to balance it with a character oriented role. shes a risk taker, something i cant really say even for the likes of Kajol.

^ You're entitled to your own opinion, as is everyone else. I used to like Priyanka as an actress but now I don't. She was average in all the movies you mentioned. I felt her role in Barfi was rather limited. She got high praise for roles that were just average. Of course, that's just my opinion. As an actress, her contribution is less compared to others.
