I just wanted to let you know, while I did find your opinion appalling, I wasn't picking on you specifically. 99% of the people on the forum didn't really bring up what others like blue-ice and I did, so I was appalled. Because it was so blatantly wrong, to me :|

Secondly, the start of your post made it sound like you thought nothing of the fact that they used those serious issues as the butt of their jokes, you said the only thing you found offensive was the skin color issue, which I presumed meant you found nothing wrong with the comments about ebola and terrorism (IS) and the insinuation of the rape joke, and yeah I got no qualms in admitting you and anyone else who didn't, appal the living bejesus outta me.

But I don't want to get personal, it's your opinion at the end of the day. You shared your two cents and I, mine. That's that I guess. No need to be sorry either.

Jokes at a roast may not be done with malicious intent but when one brings in serious issues like those in one's punch line, they're an asshole IMO.

Honestly I was being kind of facetious when I said I was sorry 😆. So if you disagreed with me before I can only imagine how you feel now. You probably feel the same way about me now as you do a Tanmay Bhatt 😉. That's ok though. Agree to disagree and I hope you keep sharing your thoughts. I'm being very serious now.

And for the record, I really didn't think anything of the ebola jokes. ISIS and 9/11 jokes? Ehhh, not the best but I still wasn't offended. My personal interpretation of the Parineeti Chopra joke wasn't that it was a rape joke. I don't equate the F word or any fetishes that it implies with rape. I find Karan Johar's rapid fire "if you were forced at gun point" question much more offensive than anything said at this roast. Different opinions, different perspectives.
