Part one
"Mr Khan , Mr Khan get up " a girl said sitting up on the bed and opening the light . "Come on Asad please get up it is urgent " she said as she shook the man sleeping at the side of her .
"Zoya what happened yaar why are waking me up ?"asked Asad in a sleepy voice .
"I m not feeling sleepy at all ."
"What happened Zoya , why is not sleep taking u ? "Asked he again as he sat up rubbing his eyes .
"How should I know Mr Khan ? Why are u acting so stupid ?" Zoya asked in a irritated voice and frowned .
"I m acting stupid Zoya ? U are the one waking me up at ...two am "he said checking his watch , "and u say that I m stupid !"
"Okay I m stupid but I m not feeling sleepy u get it !"she said in an angry tone.
"Okay okay come on calm down . God your mood swings are increasing each day . Now tell me what do u want me to do " Asad said in a calm voice as he calmed his wife down .
"Okay Asad , now I want u to ..."her eyes widened with excitement and Asad could see his wife happy and somewhat excited .
"Do not tell me that u want to have ice cream like in every typical movie" he said as he looked up at her now scared what would she ask for .
"I don want anything like that Mr Khan , I am not feeling sleepy so can we talk for a while please."
Though Asad did not want to he accepted it scared of her mood swings .
"But first I will have to make some coffee okay so that I can stay up . Do u want some ?"Asad asked Zoya as he got off from the bed.
"Okay "Zoya agreed as she waited patiently for him . Zoya had not even yawned properly when he came back . She first thought that Asad had dropped the idea of coffee but then seeing coffee mug in his hand she was surprised.
"Mr Khan so fast "she said in a surprised tone .
"Yeah now days I have got the practice of cooking fast " he replied winking at her .
He gave one cup to Zoya and took a sip from his .
"Mr Khan this is so ... Great , "Zoya said after taking a sip . "So now Mr Asad Ahmed Khan knows how to cook " she continued smiling at him.
"What can I do mrs Khan from the time u are pregnant I have been doing all the household works "he said smiling broadly at her .
"And have actually improved in it " Zoya said in a teasing tone and both of them burst into laughter .
"Do remember Mr Khan we used to fight so much .."Zoya said after a long silence.
"Yeah I remember , our fights . God so many fights , we used to fight in each and every thing " Asad replied smiling as he remembered their past days .
"If our baby ask what was our love story then what would we say .?"
Zoya asked thinking about their soon to come baby's reaction if he /she would know how their parents were .
"Do not worry they would understand that the love that starts from fight last for forever like their parents "he said as he took her hands in his .
"And my daughter would be smart enough to understand that "Asad said proudly .
"Daughter ?"Zoya asked narrowing her eyes at him.
"Yes u don know my junior Zoya is coming to this world soon . "
"Who said ? Not junior Zoya but junior Asad is coming ,get it !"she demanded .
"Look dear daughter what non sense things your mother is assuming , saying that u r a son . Tell her that your are a girl just like her and your are daddy 's daughter "he said placing his hands on her five months baby bump.
"Daddy's daughter ? No !not at all !"Zoya said as she took off his hands from her stomach.
"What do u mean by that ? The baby is a girl and she is my junior Zoya ,my angel. "He said in a firm tone.
Zoya laughed and finally agreed with him . "Okay okay the baby is a girl but she is mothers girl not daddy 's girl . If she goes towards u then u will be born boring ! just like u ! "she said keeping her hands in her waist .
"Look my dear daughter do not listen to your mother she speaking non sense , u r daddy's girl and dad is not boring , it is your mother who thinks she is the only one cool here" he said coming near to her stomach.
"Yeah now I m speaking non sense , have u forgotten that u were so boring . Now u r cool just because I changed u and made u cool Asad Ahmed Khan from Khadus Asad Ahmed Khan"
"Okay okay u r the only cool here , but does being cool means throwing clothes everywhere and eating stale pizza ? "Asad asked and Zoya hit him in his arm .
"Ouch ! Look how strong your mother is , u should also be like her . If anyone troubles u just punch them ! "He continued
"What Mr Khan u are suggesting your unborn child to punch people!"she said in an angry tone .
"No it is not that I m just telling her to be strong , brave and courageous like her mother ..."he left it unfinished and her smile grew wider ."like her mother 's husband "he finally ended and laughed as he saw Zoya's expression change.
She took out her tongue at him and he laughed more. Finally he stopped and his expression changed into a serious one.
"Girl or boy I just don wanna my baby face whatever I had to. I don wanna my baby to grow with any trouble . I want my child to get all the happiness of this world and I will give my child everything he / she wants. Whatever I or u had face would not be faced by our child ."he said in sad tone .
"Do not worry Mr Khan that would not happen "Zoya made him sure of that . "And I would be glad that my daughter would not have to fight with world for her father and grow up without him "she continued , "cause she's got the worlds best father and me the worlds best husband"
Asad smiled and both of them sat in silence for some time remembering all their family problems and how they had faced it. Finally Asad broke the silence.
"Now can we sleep please , the coffee has stopped working "he said and Zoya nodded her head.
"Ummm... Mr Khan "Zoya called out .
"What ?"
"Ummm will u do something ?"she asked.
"What ? "
"Umm actually I now wanna have Jalebi so can we get some?"she asked in a sweet tone and her eyes showed clearly that she was guilty .
Asad signed and said ,"okay let's go , how can I deny u my Zoya and my junior Zoya ?"
Zoya's eyes widened and she got off the bed quickly to change.
"I love you Mr Khan "she said as she followed him out of the room.
"Yeah I know that "he said proudly and both of them disappeared into the hallway.
