An intriguing premise you start with.. but then I remembered your DND prologue.. :) that was one of the best prologues ever written. I would love to read a mystery written by you.. :)

Thank you for the warmest welcome. What an amazing set of readers I have. Fortunate me huh! Loved every comment, every pm and scrap. I really appreciate the time and effort you put in to let me know your thoughts and reactions.

Coming to now... How did you enjoy chapter-1? Good, bad or so-so? If you can spare few minutes please do let me know. It helps...it really does.

My life continues to be crazy, busy and tough. However, I am going to try my best to give weekly updates. In case an update is getting delayed, I shall keep you posted. The downside of longer chapters is the time it takes to write them.

So yeah...we begin another ride. I hope to enjoy it as much as I did while writing DND. Keep your likes and feedback coming. But please be as brutally honest as you would like to be. I appreciate being hit in the face 😆

Wonderful update Sandhya..you are the mystery queen Sandhya..am hoping Anjali is alive and its Mrs.Raizada's plan to separate them..my worst fear is Anjali sold in brothel and I wouldn't want her to live like that

Loved reading about Bangalore and all South Indian terms..btw Rao is a surname in Karnataka too..

Very interesting and intriguing update!

It has made me a curious cat as to who the male admirer was in the train...

Of course it has to be Him! But still confirmation would be helpful..

Khushi is unsettled all along and her parents are realizing now to what extent the childhood incident has affected her!

What a nightmare to live with!

But why am I feeling that Anjali is very much alive and it was Mrs. Raizada ploy to separate them???

I was about to ask what is tomato pappu.

But then saw the index below the update.

Trust you to have a Shashi as a chef.

I haven't forgotten what a good cook you are.

I learnt the names of two new dishes.

Will try them.

Shashi and Garima have made it good in Bangalore.

But Khushi really does need to forgive herself.

One can understand her pain.

And that of her parents.

They worry about her.

And they want her to make a life for herself.

But that is easier said than done.

Loved how you put forward both points if view.

And one can't help but agree with both.

I just hope and wish Anjali is alive and well.

Khushi needs to know what happened to her.

And so do we!!😉

"Her Highness" disappearance definitely had a serious effect on "Her Happiness", which "Her Happiness" is unable to leave behind. The events of that fateful Diwali morning has taken over her life like a storm and looks like it became too personal much to the frustration of her parents. Her decision to travel to the Nilgiris to gain closure is welcoming. Have to see if her visit to her childhood place after 2 decades is what she really needs.

And the stranger on the train who so accurately assessed Khushi's state of mind - would he have a significant role to play moving forward? Who he is & is he related to Anjali is what I'm curious to know? I'll leave it to you to reveal in your own pace? This line particularly caught my attention - "After all, observing people had helped him approach victims with caution." ...Does his profession have anything to do in working with abused victims?

Garima and Shashi Rao establishing themselves as successful small scale entrepreneurs, shows their hard-work and positive attitude towards life, despite leaving their hometown . Under what circumstances did they leave Coonoor, is also, something I'd like to know?

There are so many missing links in chapter 1, which I know you'll address in due time. I'm in with you for the long haul. Good luck!

BTW - Reference to Fish curry with mango had my mouth all watering. And the endearing names like amma, thalle, kanna got me all nostalgic and teary-eyed. I can already see this story becoming close to my heart.

Can I say I'm a very fortunate new member of this forum ..I really am!!many of the awesome old writers are coming back .. Writing new fic or rewriting old fic .. I'm totally happy :D..I sighed in disappointment that I could not read your works but tada .. Here I'm your new reader to your new story :D
Coming to the prologue ,BRILLIANT, the only word that had come to my mind when i finished reading it ..I'm really scared abt anjali..waiting for next update thank you :))
