Arjun out of Rohit's next, only 2-hero project now. Mix of Hum&CKN

Rohit Shetty's next project, which started off as a three-hero script, has had some downsizing. Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan were already on board, and talks were on with Arjun Kapoor. But according to recent developments, discussions with Arjun have been withdrawn since the filmmakers have decided to make it a two-hero project.

A source told Deccan Chronicle, "Rohit did meet Arjun and they did have the initial round of script discussions, but later the conversation stopped. It will now be a romcom with two actors in the lead. As for the leading ladies of the film, talks are on with Kajol to be cast opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit has spoken to four actresses to be cast opposite Varun, out of whom one will be finalised."

The film is reportedly a mix of Hum and Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi. The film will go on floors in a couple of months, once Shah Rukh is done with the shooting of Fan.
