Thank you BV CVS for two things:
1. You made me come out of my addiction of BV, when you replaced Pratyusha in 2013. Till that time I was madly addicted to BV. I would be searching all the SBS, SBB and all segments and all news relatedto Sidyusha and their offscreen interviews and all the episodes would be viewed by me, innumerable times by me. You replaced PB and made me come out of that addiction.
2. Till last week, I have seen BV (mostly), or relied on the written updates(on those days, where I could not watch or if I felt that the episode was filler). I came to this forum, read the posts and was a regular and silent reader of Ansh AT. From this week, I am relieved from this, because of you - No BV, Do NOT want to see Anandi crying and fighting for the cause of the society, No forum.
Many people had requested you not to kill ShivRaj Shekar and show Anandi's professional career and I am one of them. But you chose the different way. You want to cash Anandi's tears in any form and make her cry again, fight from scratch, fight with her own family and get back to BH in Jaitsar. True, It's Kacche Umar ka pakka rishta - may be in the form of friend, philosopher and guide. Is it the journey of a Child Bride to "Young" Widow? Is this what you wanted to show ultimately? Is this what you call as Women empowerment, Women fighting without husband for the cause of society?
I have seen BV from the days of PB as Anandi and have not seen Avika Gor as Anandi. I was so happy when she was shown forgetting the past and moving on in her life as Sarpanch and doing good for Jaitsar. You could have very well left her as such and shown her progress and would have shown her to be rising as a CM of the state or, you would have shown as a good educationist serving for the whole country. That would have well explained the ill effects of balVivah and would have propagated the message that a woman can rise to great levels, if she desires to, irrespective of a bad marriage or a broken marriage. She never desired to marry again till she met Shiv.

After she met, in her hearts of hearts she desired for someone, who could share her dreams, be a part of her life,be a soulmate - which was shown to us as her dream, where she saw Shiv in it and he lifting her up. I would not have advocated remarriage, if not for Shiv. He was one of the best, not even one of the best, but the best crafted male lead, till date, of Indian television. He had all the qualities, loved by every female and no one would have potrayed Shiv better than Sidharth Shukla. I have seen many Tamil and Hindi serials but I had never witnessed a beautiful love story as Anandi and Shiv, though KB's Kaialavu Manasu, comes so close to it. I had read many OSes, here on this forum on AnSh and have imagined so many situations and unseen beautiful heart warming monologues and dialogues and lots of interactions between memebers on this. After their marriage/ atleast after anandi's love realisation for shiv, if the story would have ended, I would have been so happy.
But you wanted to stretch their story further. Today, in the tamil version of BV, they were showing Anandi seeing Phooli's son and attending his naming ceremony. The dialogues between Sumitra and Gehna, on Anandi's happiness on seeing Phooli's son and Anandi saying that Nandu, Charu and Varun being her children, showed how she longed for her own kids. The longing is now getting fulfilled for her, but you CVS are shattering her. After TR has started played Anandi, I was not convinced and never saw BV for some months but would visit the forum and read the posts and definitely would visit AnSh AT. Then, I again started seeing BV and though I was not that much addicted as before, but AnSh scenes were class apart, from all the others. I was so happy for Anandi as she got a husband like Shiv and she always does something for others, whenever she sees others in trouble, whether it be Sonu, Jyoti, Pramila, the old woman from Mumbai or so. Since Jagya's life is also settled, they should have concluded BV with an Happy Ansh holding their kids.
If they wanted to drag the story, still, I do not know what is left in their (Anandi and Jagya, as the story is about them), both are settled, leading a happy life, both professionally and personally, if they wanted to show Anandi's empowerment, they would have really shown, Anandi's NGO being expanded - not only for women, they would have shown her fighting for women from all walks of life like children Jyoti, rape victims like Sanchi, married and ill treated women like Chanda, old women and Widows and empower them with education and soft skills WITH THE SUPPORT OF SHIV and all the family members and with her kids. They could have shown the problems married women face and people with children face while they are off to work. I would love to see Anandi, juggling between family, kids, Bhaili and at the end of the day, She faces Shiv, who adores her, supports her, loves her, cares for her and line maro her with his cheesy dialogues. She never blooms anywhere and her face never lights anywhere, as when she is with Shiv. Shiv completes her and She completes him. I do not feel that the character, Shiv, has come to its logical end. With the formation of baby, never ends the husband role in a women's life. She need his care, love and support throughout her life. By killing Shiv, I feel they are not empowering Anandi but feeling a void throughout her life. Whatever field she may excel, whatever achievements she do, she would feel a void that cannot be filled even by her kids. She needs Shiv, still more in the upbringing of her kids. This is not women empowerment. Women empowerment of Anandi lies in she being happy in both her professional and family life. You not only made Anandi suffer but also made Anandi's children, deprived of their father's love. We were waiting to see how Ansh would upbring their kids - beautifula nd understanding couple going through a beaitiful phase...Oh CVS...
So, thank you so much for giving us a wonderful couple like Ansh and I have stopped seeing BV, as I could not witness the death of shiv or Anandi being in the same state as Suguna/Asha and starts fighting for her life from scratch, all over again. Before, when she fought with her past, I wanted to see BV because I wanted her to excel, but now after seeing her going through her best phase in life, I convinced myself that I would not want to see Bv because, I could not find her completely happy or wholly happy after this, which I did not want to witness. For me, Anandi, fought her broken marriage and her insecurities, excelled in life, found a soulmatein ShivRaj Shekar and, Anandi and Shivraj Shekar live with their kids, Shivam and Nandini(Anshuman and Anshika, I thought of these names) happily ever after.

It might be possible that story in BV might take positive turn by showing Anandi handlung both her and Shiv's responsibility but still all the satisfaction and happiness will be incomplete because she won't have her Shiv to share it with...for Anandi, Shiv's opinion, his happiness and his emotions mattered the most...she knew that there is someone who will always support her anc love her...now her life will be all about giving more than she receives. Btw Anandi will stay in KB becoz Shiv asked her to keep his family together.

Wonderful post. Made me emotional and teary eyed once again.
These are the feelings of every AnSh admirer.

Wish CVs had not done this.. Anandi and Shiv together were capable of excelling in every arena of life.

Yes that's why this time even though she fights against all odds, there would be some emptiness. Last time, we all wanted her to fight, come out of it, be successful as we all cried with her, felt the betrayal and we rejoiced when she became successful. But can we do it now whole heartedly? I felt they not only punished or made Anandi cry but also deprived the love and affection of Shiv to his kids, which could not be tolerated.

Russhme22, I really do not know how far are they going to stretch but whatever they wanted to show, I think they had shown in NBHTKK. I really could not understand how could they say, SRS character has logically ended. Will they say it for Ganga's character too as they are concerned only abt Anandis and Jagyas character?

Don't know who is responsible for the death of Shiv.
Is it the writers or is it the actor or is it the channel ?
May be all of them are responsible
May be the writers did not know how to take Shiv forward without sidelining the character.

What ever may be the reason CVs seem to think that Anandi whose life filled with darkness and lonliness and yet helping others and standing up for ppl who cannot stand up for themselves makes a more gripping story than the story of a happy Anandi with her husband kids and social work.🤢
Whether the channel and CVs are right or not time only will tell😔

Very well written TM, if the makers wanted to show change and positivity, they would have ended the serial with Ansh admiring their newborns...not this mess with Anandi struggling again ...I can already see whats coming...Dadibua saying that the babies have got bad luck, they have killed their own father, Anandi fighting another battle trying to keep her babies safe...😭sob sob...glad that I dont have to put up with this nonsense anymore...my reason for watching the serial just died!!!

Very good argument TM.
Even the hope that this will be the springboard for better things for Anandi has been belied.
She will stay in KB which means misery, tears and verbal abuse of Anandi and her babies.

If CVs seriously think this is the story they want to tell, which every other serial shows in any case, I'm not watching it.

Heart-wrenching, intensely poignant, yet subtle. Never thought I'd have teary-eyes (with one lone drop falling down my cheeks) at the death of a Telly character. It was true to the spirit of BV, a class apart from the other, usually screechy death scenes in various shows. It made us put ourselves in Anandi's shoes and tremble at the thought of any of our loved ones bidding goodbye in this manner.
For the Nth time: WHY DID THEY DO THIS?!!
