lovely topic I am actually a semi only child lol semi coz my mother always made sure I wasn't alone so she would always get my cousins and the neighbours kids to be with me. So I noticed btw my 3 much smaller cousin 1 was treated differently from the rest of us coz he wasn't really brought up with us and the other 2 coz they lived with my family they had more of a connect btw them. Now coming to the comparisons issue- again I would use my 2 cousins who stayed with my fam I did notice that certain times they where compared to each another bt coz they where so closely connected this never mattered to them although they should fight a lot . Bt also when it came to me I am much older than them and actually the fav so when they where small they felt that quite that I was more liked and actually didn't like me much the 1 who was 6 at the time thought I was a snob her brother should mock and call me a princess, they plotted to catch me and hit and they even told their mom I stole their mashmallows lol. Bt as they grow up and understood me more that immaturity left them even though they still know I am the Princess lol. And so I think that the birla boys are like my 2 cousins and me who even though compared coz they have such a beautiful bond the comparisons doesn't actually matter to them. Bt obviously what my cousins went through is mild its absolutely nothing and what anuj and saurabh go through is much, much worse. Even I found dadi's behavior with them very distasteful when she wished him 1st on new years eve. Really what makes yuvraj more likeable then them. Saurabh and anuj are much fairer than him lol(dadi's mentality). They do somehow see yuvraj as the golden child, the go getter and the 1 to take the birla name forward and look after the family. And I dnt understand why that is coz Saurabh has just as much potential and even more so then him coz he is more mature than Yuvraj and is more aware of what ppl are really like even anuj who looks like a dumb blond is more aware of what his wife and rags are. Yuvraj seems to sometimes be aware of hw his sils are like when suhani 1st came he knew they where bad and than that got lost in translation. Bt saurabh for me is the sibling that I would think would be most affected by yuvraj being the fav and I remem an episode in the beginning when he said something along the lines of what's the use of doing anything since yuvraj will be in control of everything. So we might have a situation later on where we might see this animosity coming out when dadi-bitchious dies. When I 1st saw him I thought he would eventually turn negative bt I love him now. Bt I hope not coz these boys are soo adorable together I love their bond. Bt 1 thing that doesn't make any sense is their evil dumb wives instant of trying to make themselves dadi's fav why are they not promoting their men. They should actually be instigating these brothers against each another. And shouldn't they hate yuvraj especially rags

Wonderful answer, Sandi! I really laughed at the marshmallows part. 🤣 I'm so glad you have that bond with your cousins. I think the comparison fits perfectly in the case of the Birlas.

I think the CVs have put the sibling rivalry track on hold and we will see it later on the show. As is illustrated by Saurabh's dialogue, I think he is aware and resents the clear preference given to Yuvraj, which is why he is rarely seen in BH. I think Saurabh feels unloved in Birla House as whole, whether it is by Rags or Dadi/Pratima. I do agree with you that Saurabh is more aware and mature than Yuvraj for sure, because he uses the 5 senses he has and knows what everyone is like. Anuj too. I think this is why we see Saurabh and Anuj together a lot- they have bonded and become close in midst of Dadi and Pratima's bias towards Yuvi. If you notice, SaNuj are always together and Yuvraj sometimes joins them. Yuvraj is always with Sharad- like Ram-Lakshmana and Bharat-Shatrughna.

About Rags-Menka being against Yuvi, that is the main reason why they wanna get rid of Suhani.They feel extremely threatened by Suhani's intellect and feel like she can both outsmart and outshine them. Remember the presentation drama that happened? They really feared that Suhani will overtake them and become Birla House's ringmaster. Ragini has already said that she thinks Soumya is going to be easy to control, so she thinks that Soumya will be like the puppet that Suhani is not (she is mistaken, of course). I don't think RagMen like Yuvi too much. Their animosity towards Suhani is one way of showing that. We might see RagMen trying to instigate the brothers against each other later on.

Yeah, agreed. This issue will come up later and there might be a huge blow-up between SaNuj and Yuvraj. Suhani will help to resolve the conflict and Dadi may like her for that.
