Aashiesh Sharma and Archana Taide announce ‘Jamai Raja’ featuring Rahul Roy

Actor Aashiesh Sharma, known for his impactful roles in television shows like Siya Ke Ram, Rangrasiya, Prithvi Vallabh, and Chandragupta Maurya, is stepping further into the creative field as a producer. Collaborating with his wife, writer-producer Archana Taide, Aashiesh has announced their next project titled Jamai Raja, which will soon stream on the Sooper App. The show stars Bollywood actor Rahul Roy, widely remembered for his role in Aashiqui, in the lead role.

In an exclusive conversation with India Forums, Aashiesh spoke about their growing partnership with the Sooper App and the kind of stories they wish to tell. He shared,“Aashiesh Archana, as a creative partnership, has always been focused on telling rooted and emotionally honest stories. Our collaboration with the Sooper App across multiple micro-dramas extends that vision. Our first show, Jaanwar, is already live on the platform and has been trending, with an overwhelming audience response, further strengthening our belief in this new-age short-form narrative style.”

He added that their upcoming project, Jamai Raja, is currently under production and that the energy on set is extremely promising.

Alongside producing, Aashiesh is preparing for his next acting project. He mentioned that production gives him a chance to mentor emerging creative talent and shape a strong environment for storytelling.

With Archana managing the production ecosystem with great precision and clarity, I’m able to remain deeply invested in the creative direction and culture we are building as a banner,” he said.
