Will Rahi find her Anuj Kapadia after Prem's 'Vanraj Shah behaviour'? Shivam Khajuria says, 'Does not..'

Shivam Khajuria, who is currently winning hearts as Prem in Rajan Shahi’s Anupamaa, got into an exclusive chat with us and opened up about the upcoming track of the show. The recent promo has left viewers intrigued, as it shows Prem losing his calm and yelling at Rahi (Adrija Roy), a moment that takes Anupamaa back to her painful past with Vanraj. In this candid conversation, Shivam talks about Prem’s emotional transformation, his bond with Anupamaa, and whether his character is truly walking down the same path as Vanraj Shah.

Prem went from being everyone’s green flag to suddenly giving red flag energy in the new promo! How do you see this change in his journey?

Yes, Prem ultimate green flag se red flag hua hai, par uske peeche there is a reason. For Vanraj, Vanraj did not love Anupama, but Prem loves Rahi. Woh use apni jaan se zyada pyaar karta hai, toh uska bhi ye emotional outburst hai. Toh uske peeche there is a reason. When the audience watches the episode, they will come to know why he is behaving a certain way. Aage jaake pata chalega ke kaise unke rishte mein saari problems ke bawajood bhi woh patch up kar lete hain.

Prem has always shared a special bond with Anupama, but the new promo shows him crossing that line. What’s your take on this development?

Woh hota hai na, gusse mein beech mein agar koi insaan bol de ya apni raay dene ki koshish kare, toh gusse mein aapka ek reaction nikal jaata hai. So, this has happened like that only. Gusse mein aisa toh nahi hai ke Prem Anupamaa se pyaar nahi karta; woh toh unhe apni maa maanta hai. Bas wahi hai ke gusse mein Prem aur Rahi ke beech kuch baat chal rahi thi, aur uss waqt Anu ne beech mein aane ki koshish ki, toh Prem ne kaha ke yeh unke beech ki baat hai. Toh wo jo anger mein hota hai na, aap ekdum se bol dete ho, aap realise nahi karte ho.

Prem’s recent actions reminded Anupama of Vanraj. Are we about to see him turn into the next Vanraj Shah? And on the other hand, will Rahi find her own Anuj Kapadia, just like her mother did?

Yeh toh, I think, writers will tell you better; about how they want this character of Prem to be. It was Anupamaa ji who imagined this Vanraj scenario because Prem was acting in a certain way. But is Prem actually like that or not, that is the point. Prem is not at all like Vanraj, because Prem has always loved Rahi, chahe uski galti ho ya na ho. Toh I think is par bhi aisa hi hai ke woh jo particular scenario tha, usko dekh kar she got a vision like that, but that does not mean that Prem has become like Vanraj.
