Hosting that night, Vicky had no idea his life was about to change backstage. He recalled performing Chikni Chameli on stage and meeting Katrina right after, thanks to comedian-actor Sunil Grover.

Sunil, who had worked with Katrina in Bharat, played cupid in the most casual way, introducing the two amid the chaos of the show. “The three of us were chatting, and Sunil introduced me to her. Within minutes of saying hello, Katrina began giving me a full tutorial on how to host the show,” Vicky laughed. The funniest part? The show was practically over, and he only had to go on stage to say goodnight.
