I agree with the above comments. I personally love that women are go getters now and not dependent on others for making the first move. Also, I love women who are not ashamed of their choices, whether those choices are accepted by society or not. For example, sushmita sen who was one of the first and only bollywood celebrities who chose to be a single mom. Something at that time which wasn't so easily acceptable in Indian society.
It's a sign of changing times and I really appreciate women who stand up for themselves and are go getters.
sonali and Di, both were very nonchalant about what they were doing on the show. There was no hesitation in accepting it, nor was there any kind of excuses for whatever they did. Like they say, kiya to kiya chaude mein. Plus, to always remember, they never played the woman card and they both were single.
Tanna, has always played the woman card conveniently, even where it was not needed. She can choose to dump her boyfriend and accept Upen, but she doesn't have the spine to accept it. The look on her face when Gautam reminded her about the bf, said it all. She looked guilty. Cut to, when she tells Upen right after that she needs to resolve issues. Cut to, smooching him at night. you, see the hypocrisy right there. She has no stand whatsoever, nor a spine or backbone to stand up for her own actions, she gives excuses when she is grilled about her behavior, she lies and cheats, and behaves like a sati savitri, when she isn't one. Tanna is a contradiction to strong women. Yes, I thought she was one when she came so far in the game all on her own, without love angles or anything. But now, she has proved to be just a desperate, and stupid woman who has no making of what Sonali or Di were.
