Confession

Hi guys,

So heres my confession...i've always personally thought that Ankita is the weakest of the II 3 lot...judging purely on her 'voice' quality...and Prashant was another guy I thought was taking things too lightly...heavily banking and relying on votes from 'Darjeeling' etc. to save him just like Javed Akhtar said.

However, after todays Roobaro...I have completely changed my opinion about these two. Ankita so humbly confessed that she feels bad when the rest of them are so good and when she goes off-key. She almost choked on her words when she said this. And Prashant kinda confessed too when he said that Abhishek was the first one who thought that Prashant would be the indian idol. This just shows that both these singers know exactly where they stand and are not afraid to admit that. IMO this is really worth appreciating and more so because I had always viewed these two to be overhyped, oversupported n overconfident.

But not anymore. Best of luck to both.

hey...that was really sweet of you to make that confession....i had the same impression abt ankita b4, tht she was really over-confident n stuff. But now, its changed. After what I saw on the day parleen left...ankita is a really sweet person. 😊

Ankita may not be my favorite singer on the show but I agree, she always seems to be this sweet and caring girl.

Honestly speaking it seems shocking to read a few good words abt Ankita coz the forum is so full of ankita haters.....this post seriously bought a smile on mah face 😛

I don't think it is right to judge any of the contestants based on their personality. It's unfair that just because we see snippets of their life on TV, we place them into categories. I'm sure none of us have the most humble, pleasing, sincere, honest, kind ,etc personalities, so why judge others. I think we should judge contestants only on the basis of their singing and not use terms like overconfidence, jealousy, etc to rate them.

i do agree wid you.. they just need to sing well and leave rest up to oopar waala
