Hi guys,
So heres my confession...i've always personally thought that Ankita is the weakest of the II 3 lot...judging purely on her 'voice' quality...and Prashant was another guy I thought was taking things too lightly...heavily banking and relying on votes from 'Darjeeling' etc. to save him just like Javed Akhtar said.
However, after todays Roobaro...I have completely changed my opinion about these two. Ankita so humbly confessed that she feels bad when the rest of them are so good and when she goes off-key. She almost choked on her words when she said this. And Prashant kinda confessed too when he said that Abhishek was the first one who thought that Prashant would be the indian idol. This just shows that both these singers know exactly where they stand and are not afraid to admit that. IMO this is really worth appreciating and more so because I had always viewed these two to be overhyped, oversupported n overconfident.
But not anymore. Best of luck to both.
veryyy well said...i agree with u 100%

This is the kind of topics we should have. Sure there's no Masala but some of us often go overboard with our dislike for some contestants, not realizing that we are talking about an actual person who's just trying to fulfill his/her dream and credit to all 7, because these teenagers have handled the pressure of the last few weeks better than many adults would have, given their situation. SO hats off to all contestants, and Angel1221 for starting this post.
Ankita especially holds a place in my heart because Ginesh talked about this bhook that you have to have to win this competition and this girl really really loves the stage. It feels like the stage is the closest thing to a home that she has and she'll be lost without it. There's this hunger in her that I appreciate, this desire for everything that this platform entails that I really really respect. Good Luck to all.
Yup I agree with you...I absolutely loved Ganesh Hegde's statement about having this 'bhook' for winning the title...it so aptly and simply stated everything that the contestants really need in one single statement.
