Nobody else in the industry has as much greed and lust for awards as SRK. In fact most of the other superstars don't seem to care...Aamir doesn't attend, Ajay doesn't attend and even Akshay isn't seen at awards...and even the one time he did win - he refused the award LOL. Salman barely attends, and also is not bothered!

Amitabh/Hrithik/Ranbir will accept awards but at the same time it doesn't seem like they will go out of their way to get them.

It is only SRK who constantly needs to have his ego fed. He's the only one that constantly performs at awards to get an award 😆 To make matters worse, whenever he wins everyone associated with him also wins...Just like this year, Farah winning best director, Deepika winning best actress...Sonu Sood and Abhishek getting awards 😆 It is getting old and ridiculous and now everyone CAN SEE IT for themselves. Everyone knows he does this and he still wont leave his old tricks!

Im surprised he let Farhan win last year 😆 he doenst seem to be as lenienet with Shahid this year, and I am sure he will steal the Filmfare away from him too

He wants them and he gets them . So do alot of others. But there are some who don't want them and they don't get them . Its no biggie .

If you want to believe so, by all means go ahead.

He brings crowds to events...half the people tune in because they know he'll be there. It is true that these days award shows are not credible any more. Most of the times awards are given to those that actually show up at the event. It's more about entertainment and Shahrukh most certainly brings that factor. Sometimes he deserves the award, sometimes he doesn't. But the minds behind these award shows mostly believe in giving an award to those that are in attendance. What's the point in giving the award to Aamir (who rightfully deserves it for PK) if he's not even going to accept it? Doesn't make sense for them to do that now does it?

The only star from HNY that actually deserved an award is Abhishek.

People love to take digs at Shahrukh that he 'buys' awards. Well if you wanna believe in that, be my guest.

Yes indeed, his sagging age and his sagging ego needs such boost time to time and in turn Indian awards have left no credibility. Job well done 👏

That's the only way he stays relevant. Salman and Aamir's movies gain so much attention without getting any awards. Even SRKs fans diss his movies nowadays. So awards makes everyone happy.

I don't think a lot of the award shows are as bad as people claim them to be. Some genuinely do award the right people and nominate those that are worthy.

I personally find that it is just SRK who manipulates the shows so that he, his costars and his movie wins/has a nomination. Salman hosts many shows and never walks away with the best actor or movie. Before this year, Shahid always performed at shows and never even got a nomination. Some stars don't perform and get nominated (I don't mean the big stars) so I don't think all of the shows are biased or rigged.

SRK is just insecure. Salman will always have this tag of being the "box office king" and Aamir will always be known for taking risks and doing something different. SRK just needs the awards to make himself feel better.

Which one of Salman's RECENT movies are worthy of a 'best actor' award. Kick was such a crap movie. My parents hated it too. If anyone was deserving to win this year it was Shahid or Aamir.

He won the award for popularity not acting wise. Even Deepika won popularity one.

POPULARITY has nothing to do with the performance of the actor

And which one of SRK's latest movies deserve best actor? All his movies are crap nowadays.
