upen & tanna behaving like teenagers

I couldn't stop laughing when upen said your eyes are glittering, what is in your eyes...when tanna asked him how much he missed her, he puts his hand behind him trying to explain he missed her to infinity...Trying to be lovey dovey like teenagers... is this what is charming about him and cute about them? Everything looks staged to me. Flop chemistry.
