Dearest All,
Intolerable! I cannot understand why the creative heads even show the idea of the heinous act entering the mind of the character supposedly designated as a protagonist in Kayamath. Forcing yourself on your wife (or your girlfriend or any woman, for that matter) as a way to cow that female at your feet is not sexy, not funny, and not acceptable.
It is utterly repugnant! Sex used as that kind of means can never, nor should it be construed as love. I don't care what the female in question did to anger the man--there is no justification! And I am really sick of having serials treat the matter of rape lightly because impressionable young people might wrongly deduce that kind of behavior is all right.
Personaly, I don't care if Milind rapes Prachi or not because even the idea that he would contemplate that is equally nauseous to me. I know that it is only a show, but it angers me because I do not like the message behind the showing of such scenes. Later, Prachi might fall in love with Milind. And what will that show to the public? That rapists or near-rapists are loveable? Sorry, I cannot digest that! 🤢
Sincerely,
Ek Umeed
P.S. I hope the creatives are happy at the Balaji camp production because they ruined Milind's character for me. He might redeem himself, but I won't ever be able to look at him the same way. He really did show what kind of morals he has by even trying to commit the action.
