Mid-day: RS' next with SRK on Xmas

Rohit Shetty supposedly plans to release his next with SRK on X-mas, may clash with Tamasha and Bajirao Mastani

ROHIT Shetty is all set to begin shooting for his next with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. However, if the latest buzz in the industry is to be believed, the director plans to release the film alongside two big- banner productions.

Says a source, "Rohit wants to release his film on Christmas as the other big dates of the year are already taken. If that happens, this film will clash with Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani."

Apparently, Rohit met SRK for a narration and the shoot of the film is likely to begin around March-April. "Shah Rukh and Rohit have finalised things and he is planning to release the film on the occasion of Christmas but it depends on how the project shapes up," adds the source.

The report of Tamasha and Bajirao Mastani releasing on the same day raised quite a few eyebrows. Now, with the addition of Rohit Shetty's film to the list, it surely will be a battle of the biggies.

Rohit remained unavailable for comment.

Imtiaz Ali said Tamasha release date haven't been decided. Likely to be in 2016, I think.

Tamasha and Raees will both release in 2016, in any clash happens on Christmas 2015 at all, it will be this film and Bajirao Mastani

Tamasha won't release this year, & it looks like even BM won't. What would The Social Worker do for rest of the year after potential box-office dud Piku?

Why wont BM release this year? They have been shooting for ages.
