Yehi umeed thi YHM se...and I am so happy that they have lived up to our expectations. Come on guys why frown yeh to expected tha na...The writing and the creative team started their work of butchering Ishita and Raman's characters slowly for quite some time now...Ishita's over Mahanta and now Raman's in-sensitiveness. Quota poora ho gaya...This calls for celebration!
*SIGH* đ I know I went a little overboard but couldn't help it!!!
Fictional Show hai, take it how it is served is the way it should go but I really thought YHM would be different because it has been from the way GO !!!
I really though Ishita's antics in the past one week when it came down to Shagun and Adi would be it. The way Raman's reprimanded her in the confines of their room made me believe that Raman would pull the reigns if Ishita ever thought about going overboard with her actions.
It was honestly a relief to see Ishita too accepting her mistake and promising to keep his words in mind and also take a step back after the Meds exchange fiasco...Earlier Toshihji had asked her to maintain a little distance from Aditya which she agreed to but never actually put into practice. But this time when she did it felt realistic (Even if painful seeing Ishita pull back) letting Adi be with his papa, dadi and even Ruhi, giving him space and not burdening him is the way to go.
Sensing her pain it was icing on the cake to see Raman assure Ishita that one day she will be Adi's Ishima too after initially asking her why she is not the real mother of his kids. It went on to show how much he trusted her when it came to donning that role..the ROLE OF A MOTHER.
Not finding your kid, his luggage missing from the room etc is a cause for Panic. Raising your voice/scolding to get off that feeling of shock also helps and seriously had Raman just done that I wouldn't have minded...but his words " Ishima Ishima Ishima...Ishima banne ka bohat shauq hai na? Ek bache ko nahi sambhal sakti" was like a BLOW!!!
From asking 'Tum Adi Ki Maa Kyun na ho" in episode 328 to asking "Tum Adi Ki Asli Maa Kyun Nahi Ho" 10 episodes later aka 338 to now this 'Ishima Banne ka bohat shauq hai na' the makers have left me speechless. Ghusse mein log bohat kuch keh jaate hai but I honestly hope they turn it down a notch here...or better strike out that line.
Like I said Raman's anger is justifiable...Because it arose from fear of not finding his son in the room but the CV's and writers took it a notch further by adding such lines that it makes you cringe.
Ishita has proved herself as a good daughter-in-law, wife and most importantly mother TIME AND AGAIN...It's was really heart wrenching to see Raman question her especially the Ishima lineđ my heart just sank after that line because Ghussa I can jhelofy but that line was ...No words seriously.
Adi was never Ishita's responsibility. Yes she did take his responsibility but that was when Shagun left for abroad...From the OLV it's clear that Shagun is back and her luggage is also missing. Is it really hard to figure out that when both the mother-son are missing it's actually got to do with Shagun more than Ishita? But then again what conclusion can anybody come to with a 1 min video?
We show our weakness only in front of the ones that matter...So I care a damn about Raman showering his anger on her... They are a normal married couple and aisa toh har pati-patni mein chalta rehta hai. Plus Raman and Ishita have always been showcased as perfectly flawed mere mortals expecting them to be prim and proper and do the right thing always will only make the story stale.
I am not blaming Raman and this is no blame game. The guy is one of the most amazing sketched character on Indian Television just like Ishita is (Barring the Anni. Stunt).
What I have written is not to hurt anybody...My thoughts and feelings are just confined to what I saw in that 1 min OLV clip. Maybe there is more to the story but it truly pains to see DRAMA being created for the sake of DRAMA... đ
Cheers
