Chapter 1

How could she be so calm as if ... ...as if nothing had happened? He in other hand had been practically handing in a thin thread from the moment he had seen her with his Jiju confessing their love and hugging each other in the terrace. He had long buried the desire of being loved and loving another soul other than his sister. But khushi had entered his life like a windmill and taken every inch of his sanity from him. He had been juggling between his feelings from a time when she had fallen in his arms in the Lucknow fashion show. And when the moment came when he was sure he had fallen hard for a certain girl with doe shaped eyes he was about to confess her about is feelings. But fate has other things hidden in its hand and he witnessed the scene which could break you apart and give you pain for your whole life. He hadn't married her coz of Shyam, but he had married her coz he was afraid ...afraid he might loose her. And Arnav Singh Raizada never looses, Never. He had blackmailed her for the marriage giving different types of threat and atlast he had made her his in legal terms Period. But till today he had not been able to forget the scene he had watched with his bare eyes and listened to the conversation between them. At first he was not able to believe what he heard. The girl whom he loved with everything he has in his and next person is his jiju whom e respects with all he have. He had long known not to read the book with only from outer cover. But he thought he had known them both well or was he mistaken in It.?????

He was not Arnav Singh Raizada for nothing but for some reasons he becomes vulnerable if it comes with Khushi. Khushi was the key for his frozen heart but yet again he was mistaken. And his mistake took a different face at the end. He had learnt his mistake and took a decision to keep her with him and give her a hurt, the hurt that she had given him. But today seeing her in the building ready to jump from the cliff had stirred a guilt feeling in his heart. Everytime...everytime he make himself unfeeling monsters she does something that stirs some unknown feeling in his heart. And today she had successfully I,planted the feeling of guilt in his heart. But he was not called monsters for nothing. He had spat at her face the reason for the marriage giving her the same feeling of being hurt and guilt ridden. Which he doubts she may feel coz she loves that Shyam MAnohar Jha. And seeing her enthusiasm in returning Shantivan had cleared every misconception which he had kept within his hearts thinking her to be the as victim as his Di was.

Watching Khushi jump around the house and very happy smile in her face for returning back was adding more fuel to his burning soul. Yet he was not ready to hear the verbal confirmation from her mouth that she is in love with his brother in law and he is just a damage control for her. He shut his mouth went outside in the verandah to see the small children playing in the ground. Seeing them play in the ground he was brought back in his past life. He had never an easy going life even after born in one of the richest family in Luckhnow. It was like he had been struggling from birth to survive in this world. He never had a fondly childhood memories. The memories he had he better not remembered that and spoil his mood some more. He never believed his mother committed suicide coz she came to know that her husband was having an illegal relationship outside the house. Nobody knows the truth hidden inside THE SHEESH MAHAL.

He was brought out of his musings by Khushi's voice saying "let's go Arnavji." She was the one who gives him hurt and she is the only one who can take away the hurt as wee. What is this relationship between them? He loved her she loves his jiju. He wanted to hurt her but the end result is he himself gets hurt in the process. Nor could he leave her neither he could live with her. What a mess he is in. thinking that a dry laugh escaped his lips. Not wanting to show any sign of vulnerability he swiftly moved towards her parents and took blessings and as swiftly carrying the bags he left back to his world.
