Both the movies have SRK at his romantic best.While DDLJ is widely popular and has been a blockbuster commercially,Veer Zaara has also been acclaimed critically.

DDLJ is a movie which one can watch as many times (having right mix of drama,romance and comedy) while VZ is very intense and maybe more impactful than DDLJ.

Personally, VZ supersedes out of the two as its a classic love tale with an everlasting effect.But DDLJ has been a more acclaimed one.

Disagreements are most welcome.

You could try asking: Would KSG prefer VZ or DDLJ. 😆

Anyways I guess this topic has been discussed many times here. My preference is DDLJ. VZ IMO was highly overrated. I got throughly bored while watching the movie.

DDLJ is the more endearing of the two. The chemistry is more universal, the story is more common and relatable, the songs have something for everyone.

I like VZ but it pales in comparison to DDLJ, for me.

I never really understood the big deal about both films both are good thought I liked the songs from veer zara a little more though.

DDLJ for me thanks :) It's a perfect love story mixed with comedy and melodrama plus thumbs up onscreen couple. I could not ask for more

Oh..didn't know this but still wanted to know the general opinion taht pretty much indicates DDLJ is the favorite here.

Overrated really 😲,I thought it didn't get the deserved recognition.
