The women of Jaitsar decide to over rule the panchayat and the rest of the men and take part in Gehna - Niranjan wedding. They question the revolting men, that when they are given second chance after getting widowed / divorced, why cannot women get same. Incidentally men too come in support of their decision and they all come to attend the wedding.
In the midst of wedding ceremonies, Gopal tells Nandu, some wrong things about Gehna - Niranjan relationship after their marriage , which makes Nandu misunderstand Niranjan, and hate him. At the time of Grihpravesh, Nandu makes a big fuss and stops his mother to go to Niranjan's house, calling him a bad man and a cheater and that he does not approve of the wedding. This leaves every one shocked and puzzled. Dadisaa is sad and prays for Devi Maa's intervention. Jagdish assures Niranjan, that Nandu will slowly come around. Nandu continues to be wileful towards Niranjan , searching for chances to make him restless, trouble him , making his hatred towards him very evident. Gehna is sad at the turn of events, Niranjan, suggests her to keep up the patience.
A villager sees Sona at school and makes a big fuss of her working in Vasanth Nikethan and asks the principal to throw her out . Villagers raise a hue and cry Dadisaa is shocked to know about Sona being a prostitute but Jagdish supports her and explains to Dadisaa it is her husband who pushed her into prostitution and she now wants to come clear out of it all and start a fresh life, and all should be supportive of her decision. Dadisa understands the situation and offers Sona, that she can stay at Haveli, as it is the safest place for her. LP Shrivastav trying to take revenge from Jagdish blames him in front of media of having an affair with Sona Jagdish supports Sona in front of media when they question him about this and also makes the villagers understand who are having problems with Sona a prostitute in their village . Dadisaa and Ganga too support Sona in front of all
Incidentally, when Ganga and Sona come face to face for the first time Ganga recognizes Sona, is her cousin Kusum, and from Kusum she comes to know her aunt and uncle have sold her off to a man in the name of marriage and the man just exploited Kusum, by pushing her into prostitution for his own selfish means. Ganga wants to teach her aunt and uncle, a lesson, show them the mirror, so she, calls them over to Haveli to meet her.
Dadisaa, improves on her English reading skills with help from Jagdish leaving her class teacher and class mates impressed.
Udaipur :
On a visit to Shiv's friend's place , Anandi comes across a girl who is used as a child labour to look after the house and the friend's kid and is ill treated by his wife. Inspite of the lady trying hard to hide the situation, passing off the girl as a distant relative, who is taken into their fold, for a better education etc., Anandi still comes to know about the truth and informs Shiv of the illegal activity taking place at the house.
Shiv questions his friend, being a responsible man of authority, how can he do some thing like this, the friend tries to brush of the same very lightly , that it is all his wife's business, and he cannot over rule her wishes.
Shiv gets into action and comes with a police team in the search of the place, and they indeed find the girl hidden.
The friend and his wife are arrested, and Anandi , Shiv hand over the girl to Govt's shelter for such kids, which help in the further up bringing of the child.
Sanchi comes over to KB, Subhadra goes on with her satirical remarks about her, which angers Alok a lot, and Anoop coming in the support of Subhadra
Subhadra now tries to raise differences between Ira and Meenu, and gets about with her tactics. Sanchi notices little argument that take place between Ira and Meenu, and advises that it is not the way to go about., they should remain united for the happiness of the family and not get into childish arguments.
Sanchi gets to know that she is pregnant and wished to share this happy news with Vivek first. She comes to meet him, but in return, even before she could tell him the news, he gives her divorce papers to sign.
At, KB, Anandi finds her confidential tender file @ Anoop's room, and she shares same with Shiv.
Shiv has an emotional talk with Anoop, saying, if he wanted Anandi's file, he would have directly asked Anandi for same, instead to getting it via cheating, and Anandi would have happily given same to him.
Anoop tries to play the emotional card of him, being the biological father of Shiv, still Shiv does not want to show any kind of support to him.
Shiv replies, he loves his family very much , but he cannot compromise on his principles and ethics at any juncture. N/less, he is very saddened at Anoop's words and behaviour. Anandi consoles him.
Anandi comes to know from Chanda, that all of her employees of Bhaili have left and now joined Anoop. She is shocked to hear same.
Shiv assures her to be courageous , that she will find replacements soon, and his support will be with her always.
Ira gifts Amol a bicycle and Alok tries to teach Amol to ride same. Amol after a few tries, gets scared to learn same, in the fear of falling.
16th to 31st December

Ganga calls her aunt and uncle to haveli and try to show them mirror that they did wrong with their daughter selling her off to a bad man but her aunt and uncle refuse to accept they did any wrong and Kusum should go back to her husband When Kusum refuses they angrily leave from Haveli Kusum is shattered Dadisaa consoles Kusum and assures her they will give her all love of family
LP Shrivastav to plot revenge on Jagdish to destroy his political career tries to tarnish his image in front of media by blaming him of having an affair with Sona . Jagdish not scared of LP's dirty tricks warns LP that he will fall in his own trap very soon but shattered Kusum on knowing LP's games decides to leave from haveli as she does not want to bring trouble for Jagdish and his family .From Kusum Jagdish and Singhs come to know her husband is none other than LP himself . Kusum is scared as LP is a very dangerous man she cannot win from him but Jagdish encourages her to fight for justice and to prove her innocence He will support her in this .Dadisaa and Ganga too support and encourage Kusum
Kusum in front of media tells minister LP Shrivastav is her husband and pushed her in prostitution for his personal gains. LP upon seeing this news about him gets very angry and tells his goons to get Kusum
Two of LP's goons come in reporters disguise in haveli and try to get Kusum Jagdish reaches on time and saves Kusum . Jagdish recognizes the goons as LP's men and understands who send them here
Jagdish along with Kusum and reporters go to LP Shrivastav's home Reporters question LP about Kusum saying she is his wife and her son Shakti being his son LP refuses to accept Kusum as his wife and her son Shakti as his son and blames Jagdish for playing dirty games to destroy his political career
Jagdish asks LP for DNA test that will reveal all truth in front of everyone who is true . LP gets shocked hearing about DNA test but in front of reporters have to agree but he makes excuse of discussing with his party superiors before going ahead with test . Jagdish asks the reporters to be witness of this he promised in front of all for DNA test After reporters leave LP tries to threaten Jagdish he is messing with the wrong person He will pay heavily for this . Jagdish not scared of his threats strictly tells LP to accept his misdeeds as there is no other way out for him now
When the news about LP Kusum reaches to party senior he tells LP to solve this matter soon , because of him their party is getting defamed if he did not solve this matter sooner the party will have to throw him out The senior ask LP to go for DNA test if he is telling the truth . LP thinks of a plan to escape from DNA test but to reporters he tells he is ready for test
Kusum impressed with Jagdish's goodness envies Ganga's luck of having him as her husband and wishes someone like him would be in her life too
Jagdish gets to know LP has given his blood sample for DNA test Kusum is nervous and says she will get relieved only when reports will come as she knows LP is expert in molding truth and changing facts . Jagdish assures her he won't be able to do anything now as time has come for him to pay for his misdeeds and learn victory is always of truth
LP comes to Badi Haveli and gives Kusum a blank check to fill it with as much money as she wants and take all her blames on him back and leave him. Kusum tears the check and throws it on LP'S face firmly telling him she won't leave him until she won't get justice . LP tries to slap Kusum Dadisaa stops him and warns him to stay away from Kusum as she is their family member now if he tried to torture her now he will have to face them . LP tries to instigate Ganga against Kusum trying to cast spell on her husband and trapping him to use him for her own selfish purposes . Ganga gives her piece of mind to LP and makes him shut up LP leaves insulted from Haveli but before leaving he warns them he won't spare them for messing up with him
JaGan discuss with each other about Nandu's behavior with Niranjan . Jagdish tells Ganga they will have to make Nandu understand in polite way as he is a kid . Scolding can affect him badly and turn him more bitter towards Niranjan
Niranjan one day gets high fever but Nandu blames him for pretending to stay with Gehna Ganga over hears Nandu talking to Basant's photo all his insecurities about Gehna Niranjan relationship and that Niranjan will also separate him and Bharavi from Gehna . Ganga understands what is bothering Nandu and she shares this with Jagdish and Dadisaa . Jagdish decides to talk with Nandu on this and clear his misunderstandings
Nandu stops paying attention on studies and takes Godown's register with him to school as he wants to help his mother in godown work and take all her responsibility His maths teacher sees him trying to understand godown' s accounts in class time instead of doing class work . She tries to make him understand this is not his age for this work he should pay attention on his studies Nandu on her face promises not to do this again but outside the maths teacher comes to know from his other teacher Nandu did same in her class too and others classes too When they tried to make him understand he promised he won't do this again but he never acts on his promise The teachers tell this to Dadisaa and Dadisaa tells to Jagdish Ganga and Gehna . Nandu tells the family he won't go to school now but will go to godown and handle work there
Jagdish sits with Nandu and tries to make him understand Nandu tells his all insecurities about Gehna Niranjan relationship to Jagdish and also tells what Gopal told him . Jagdish tries to make Nandu understand about husband wife relationship and also counts Niranjan's virtues to him trying to make him understand that Niranjan will never do anything to give pain to Gehna and him . Nandu is affected by Jagdish's words
Udaipur
Differences between Alok and Anoop increase and Anoop tries to leave from home and is ready to stay only on one condition if Shiv starts calling him papa instead of chote papa . Shiv has to agree for sake of unity of the family but he is disturbed with Anoop's behavior Anandi gives him strength
Anandi comes to know that her father Khajan is seriously ill with a skin disease and his condition is worsening . AnSh go to meet Khajan . Khajan is happy to see them . Anandi insists Khajan to come with them to Udaipur for his treatment Khajan is hesitant to go but Shiv makes him agree
AnSh bring Khajan to Kesar Bagh. Rest welcome him except Subhadra who instigates Anoop as well that Anandi has planted her sick father in their house now he will spread infection to them too Anandi over hears their this conversation one day and feels bad She tells Shiv they can send her father to hospital family members will be having problem with his illness . Shiv understands who can be having problem and tells Anandi those who are having problem they always have problem in everything Her father will stay here only and she should take care of him without thinking of anything else
One day Anandi sees Subhadra throwing away the milk she has brought for her When Anandi asks her why she did this . Subhadra tells her she does not want to get sick in this age as she ( Anandi ) with same hands take care of her father and also others . Anandi tells her she takes all precautions yet if she thinks she is spreading her father's disease germs to everyone around then she won' t cook for her when other s ask the reason she can tell them
Daddu 's health starts improving and his reports come fine Anoop brags its all because of the money he spend on his treatment . Daddu tries to show him mirror money is not more important than relations but Anoop is unaffected and takes it as Daddu is insulting him . Daddu is heart broken with Anoop's behavior
Amol is hesitant of cycling . Shiv encourages him he can do it Falling from cycle while learning is a part of learning but Amol thinks people will make fun of him if they come to know how many times he has fallen down . Shiv promises he will teach him cycling without letting anyone know how many times he has fallen . Shiv makes Amol practice cycling every morning not letting others know about it . Amol finally starts cycling with confidence . Shiv surprises the family with it and all are happy seeing Amol cycling with confidence
Vivek when gives divorce papers to Sanchi , at the spot he meets with accident . Sanchi takes him to hospital where he is operated and finally starts recovering but he still refuses to make up with Sanchi . Sanchi has a miscarriage . Vivek's mother Suman Kabra shows him mirror and Vivek finally realizes his mistake and apologizes to Sanchi Both make up .
