Hi guys! Many of you regular members might not be familiar with me since I'm not a very active member of this forum. Before this I had never outrightly expressed my feelings towards the show, it's tracks or the characters but today I couldn't help myself from breaking my silence and pour my heart out, thanks to the recent happenings in the show.
Just until three days ago I was so excited for Veeba's wedding...to see the start of a new phase of their life as a married couple. But I regret to say, not anymore. All my excitement and anticipation for this upcoming track has faded away. What is this nonsense are we being shown? I am absolutely disgusted and outraged by Veera's character. I can't believe this girl. After all the pain and misery she went through a couple weeks ago, has she learnt nothing? What kind of love is hers that is void of all trust? Is the trust in her dictionary only reserved for her mahaan veerji? The guy for whom she means the world demanded one and one thing only: trust. But she once again managed to disappoint him but this time the affect it had on his mental state is a lot more severe than before. She became the ultimate cause of his torment and mental torture.
As a viewer we have been let down by Veera countless times. However, I might be one of the minorities who always tried to justify Veera's behaviour, always giving her a benefit of doubt. Even during Veeba's break up track, I remained optimistic and tried to make sense of things from her POV (though I admit she went too far when she slapped Baldev), not because I was Veera's blind fan but only because I wanted to believe that she will eventually come through, learn her lesson and never ever again distrust Baldev. And I was so sure she wouldn't but sadly she proved me wrong yet again. And this time there could be no excuse whatsoever. Agree she was mentally disturbed because of her family disowning her and could have made wrong choice of words but here the matter wasn't such. She clearly indicated that she thinks he could murder someone in certain situations, thus implying she doesn't trust Baldev regardless what he keeps yelling to the world and doubts him to be a murderer. Pathetic! How could she repeatedly hurt one person who loves her most selflessly esp. when she knows her every word affects him so much? I am starting to wish Veeba had never gotten married.
More than anything, I am furious with CVs and Mash. What are they doing? Ruining the leads of their own show! Honestly I have never come across a lead as pathetic and delusional as Ranvi or Veera. This bro-sis duo have been constantly portrayed in a negative light as compared to supposedly grey-shaded character. It just makes me wonder what are Cvs trying to show here. Is the show still about a sibling relationship, the purest of bonds, as it once was? If so then are they trying to show that only relationship that matters is sibling and parental relationship? Or that, their love and obsession for each other is so deep, their trust on each other so unwavering that they don't think twice before letting any other relationship down or hurting someone else? I started hating Ranvi way before but now they are making Veera a hateful character too. But it bothers me because her character is closely associated with Baldev, the most desserving character of this show. But unfortunately he's the one who is suffering the most...he's repeatedly victimised and used a bait to portray the extent of craze and obsession of this bro and sis for each other. Why is he always targeted is what I wish to ask these CVs. They have maligned one of the most innocent and pure relationship of this world. They have reduced Ranveera to nothing but tormentors. And along with it, they have ruined what could have been a perfect love story.
Being an ardent fan of Veeba, it hurts me to see one of the cutest and most adorable couples being ruined by Cvs. They had so much potential. Here I was hoping to see them as perfect example of soulmates. Honestly I feel sorry for Baldev. He deserves much much better. Even now if Cvs decide to redeem her I don't think I will be able to like or trust her the way I used to. Last night was the final straw for me. I am so disheartened I feel like giving up on this show as I do not wish to see Baldev's traumatised state while knowing Veera is partly responsible for it. However, I will still keep on watching for my fav character of this show, Baldev, and more than that I will continue watching for Vishana.
Phew...end of rant! 😆 Sorry for this LONG essay guys. But after reading updates for last night and Monday's episode, this was much needed for the sanity of my mind 😆😳
