Sahir has revealed his marital status to Arzoo and has told her the last few days were part of a game to prove she was a gold digger. And of course he told her he never loved her and wants her out of the house.
Arzoo is very skeptical with regards to his reasons, and why shouldn't she be? She knows her man, she knows the multiple faces and conflicting statements he makes. How many times has he insulted her, only to smother her with love the next day? Too many to count. She knows he fights an internal battle which she has yet to know details on. But more than anything, deep inside, no matter what he says, she knows exactly how he feels about her. And nothing he can say or do will change that.
But Arzoo is Arzoo, short tempered, head strong and proud. You told me to leave? Fine, I don't want to stay either, bye. And oh btw, I hate you too . Off she trots, similar to the apology scene which descended to an ego stand off where they tell each other they don't matter to each other, again we see a repeat with both personalities stubbornly telling each other things that neither really mean.
Before Arzoo can even calm down and think clearly, to start asking rational questions (like, so where is this wife of yours?), she is attacked by the cab driver. And who is the first person she contacts? Not Zaki, not Linda, not Alvira, but Sahir. Again proof, that no matter what he says or does, she knows deep down that her man will always be there for her. And he is, he turns up in a flash and descends like a hurricane on the cab driver, needing the police to drag him off to end the storm. Arzoo watches this all. She sees his junoon and gets even more irritated with him. If he loves me so much, why can't he just be honest about it. Why the constant lies?
Sahir returns home with Arzoo, riddled with guilt. Why did he ask her to leave? Why did he allow himself to fall in love and show it when he knew he couldn't marry her? This was all his fault and Arzoo was paying the price for his pain. He is haunted by her words ' at least the cab driver is better, he shows his real face'. He resorts to self-harm for comfort...
Arzoo is understandably shocked and shaken from the incident. Although she is surrounded by love and concern, the person she really needs is him. She needs his protective embrace. But when she thinks of him, she is reminded of his parting words to her and she breaks down. She needs to leave, she can't stay here any longer. He doesn't want her here. Sahir overhears this and panics. He pleads to his mother to make her stay. He can't help but love her, he can't survive without her. He can't watch her go. He wants to be able to protect her.
His words to her when his mother goes to convince her to stay were strange. I free u from this relationship. I am not sure how this was supposed to make her stay. All I can guess is that he acknowledged their bond to her and is telling her you don't need to leave on account of me, stay because I won't be bothering you anymore. Or maybe it was because she was looking at him and he had tears in his eyes and felt he had to say something to contradict what she saw. Arzoo faints and the drama ends. But Zaki is there for her, staying by her side and providing comfort. But through all the scenes with Zaki, arzoo's moon bracelet glistens. It remains on her wrist. Proof again that no matter what, Sahir is part of her. For her, his love lives in that bracelet. She feels it there. And that love belongs only to her. And it is this love which will never allow Zaki or anyone else to come near her.
Through Sahirs self talk, we understand more of his inner turmoil. The conversation is interestingly with Arzoo. Again he needs her support. There is so much he wants to say to her, but he just can't. So restless, he goes to her at night. Seeing Zaki there, he is visibly jealous. But unlike before, there are no insecurities. That's his lady lying there and her heart beats for him as his does for her. He goes close to her. Very close. He wants to give her that protective embrace. Instead he gives a heartfelt apology. If only Arzoo could have heard...may be she did in the depths of her heart...
Once again the bracelet takes the focal point as Sahir removes Arzoos hand from Zaki's. The message is clear - no matter what has been said and done, no matter what truths have been revealed and no matter what lays ahead, Sahir and Arzoo are locked in an unbreakable bond forged by their hearts. Her heart will always belong to him and his will always beat only for her.
So what does the future hold for these two? Well there is still a key discovery for Arzoo to make - who, where is the wife? Once Arzoo is back to herself, she will surely ask these questions. And when she discovers the truth, the full truth, including the betrayal, her heart will melt. Alvira knows it all and if she wants to help Arzoo heal, I would expect her to share the story with Arzoo. Then I would like to see a beautiful friendship evolve. Arzoo can still help him and he can still be there for her. Of course, the love will grow stronger but how they deal with that will be about her story! :-)
With regards to the deal, I wonder if Sahir will get to a point where he simply doesn't care and tells Rehman to take a hike resulting in him getting shot. Will be an interesting twist and will be great to see how Arzoo reacts.
