Shubhangi's baby blues

Though the show 'Kasturi' (Star Plus) has actor Shubhangi Atre playing a girl in love, in actuality she is much married and a mother of a two-year-old daughter named Ashi.
Shubhangi, who is playing the title role of 'Kasturi', often resents the fact of not being able to spend enough time with Ashi.

Moreover, workload and deadline pressures, at times, force the actor to stay back on the sets. Shubhangi obviously misses her daughter and husband (Piyush Poorey) then.
However, a supportive Piyush gets their baby along on the sets and that's when the family enjoys quality time together.

Shubhangi says, "Ever since I started shooting for 'Kasturi', I've been busy. These days, we are shooting a crucial track. Being the lead, I am there in almost all frames. And on days when there are telecast issues and deadlines to be met, I have stayed back on the sets. During such occasions, I ask Piyush to bring Ashi on the sets."

Shubhangi however does not believe in complaining. "One has to be mentally prepared. Everyone struggles in their respective fields. I chose this profession and it's my show. Of course, there is the frustration of not being able to go home but the production house makes things very comfortable for us. So I can't complain." She ends on a positive note,

"Of course, I miss seeing my baby grow. But we all have to make compromises if we have to succeed in life. My baby too is making them. But my husband's support helps me pull through the situation."

Oh Herman_4U...dont say that!! It is for her kid and husband that she is working soo hard. If it is not for earning money and fame (which will probably get more more roles and more money) tell me what mother would miss out on her baby growing up!! Its a very hard compromise and I admire the petite shubhangi for that!! kudos to her!

soniag, she's not doing this for earnings or anything. her family isn't poo. she said that it was her own dream to come in glamour world. so i think she's just doing it to fulfill her dream. the reason i said that was because my mom says that the beautiful part of having kids is that seeing them growing up with ur own eyes. like seeing them walking for the first time, laughing, saying the first word and seeing their teeth coming out etc. so she's missing all this because of her own dreams. i'm not being offending to her or anything. i'm a big fan of hers but i didn't like this about her. well this is just my opinion.

She keeps her professional and personal lives separate and gives equal time to both of them, thats quite good! 😃
