Prithviraj Chauhan: Aishwarya or Celina?

Bollywood actress Celina Jaitley now seems to replace Aishwarya Rai in a movie titled "Prithviraj Chauhan". There is a rumor in Indian media that director Chandraprakash Dwivedi is now thinking of former Miss India winner of 2001 Celina though Aishwarya Rai was expected to act in the movie. There is also news that Aishwarya Rai's marriage to actor Abhishek Bachchan led Dwivedi thinking of Celina. However, everything is still rumor as neither Dwivedi nor Celina have confirmed the news yet. Apunka Choice reported:

A source close to Celina confirmed that Dwivedi was considering Celina to play the Rajkumari with whom Prithviraj Chauhan falls in love.
"Celina has been approached for the said role but it is too premature to say anything now."
The source added that Celina has been wanting to do a period film for a while now.
"If things work out between the director and her then this is one role that she does not want to miss out on. Considering that she likes to get into the skin of the characters she plays, she will not do a thorough research for the role. She will give it her best shot," the source said.
But a source close to director Dwivedi says, "A film like Prithviraj Chauhan requires massive funds and Dwivedi is looking out for a business house to finance the film. All talks are in the initial stages and star cast at this point, is nothing but mere speculation. Celina is very much there on Dwivedi's mind."

The movie will be based on a historical story of Prithviraj Chauhan, Emperor of Rajput dynasty, who was the last Hindu king of Delhi. He was very powerful in his tenure. Prithviraj Chauhan fell in love with Sanyogita who was the daughter of Prithviraj's rival Jaichand, the king of Gahadvala dynasty of Kannauj.

Well, Celina Jaitley is not a powerful actress in Bollywood and she could not earn much fame that Aishwarya could both in India and abroad. Celina has earned more fame for showing her body in the movies than her acting skills.
