very, very, very interestinggg 👍🏼 little bit theatrical, should have kept it low toned and simple...but very fresh and nothing i have seen in last few years... Ayushman looks perfect for the role...

Ayushmann Khurrana is the intrepid geek set out to make the first plane and be the first man to fly in the impressive trailer of Hawaizaada.

Inspired by true events, Hawaizaada is set in the 1895 Bombay of the British ruled India. About eight years before America's Wright Brothers made the first airplane and made motorized flight possible for humans, there was an Indian trying to give wings to his own idea of human flight.

Shivi (Ayushmann Khurrana) is a rebel. He's expelled from school and falls for a local diva named Sitara (Pallavi Sharda). Fed up of his carefree ways, his father chucks him out of the house. Shivi slips into a life of sin and debauchery.

Then, an eccentric scientist and vedic scholar (Mithun Chakraborty) takes Shivi under his wing and inspires him to make the world's first airplane. But the British throw a spanner in Shivi's works. Will he succeed? Watch the trailer of Hawaizaada' below:

The film is directed by Vibhu Virender Puri and slated to release on 30 January 2015.
