Fabulous discussion Mandy...

Whether or not Aahil is an abused turning abuser we have yet to see. He is hurting and exacting payback in a very cruel manner.

He is spoilt and cruel and behaving like a child. Sanam knows this and is taking it because she knows he loves her dearly. He struggled with his feelings and finally opened up to her.

Sanam is hurting very badly and it's temporarily weakened her character because she also has fallen hard for him. Strong people love the hardest. Remember Asad during Zoyaan? He was as heartbroken and teary as Zoya.

But the time will come and she will collect herself and stand up and stare back at her tormentors. But what is the trigger? It's gone way past Zoyaan type of bad here...

Aahil has not trusted her. That's the elephant in the room. She trusted him knowing all about Sunehri's stint and all. Love is equal and she has not gotten it in return.

I want to see Rehan save Sanam from utter humiliation today because he has always been a trustworthy friend to her.

It's time Aahil burns with guilt over not treating his love with care. He has been thinking of himself only.

Lack of trust is devastating in a marriage

Some people have mentioned Aahil is an abuser currently and I agree. His moves are really calculated and measured. This includes sending his wife to a brothel to fetch a courtesan.
He is inflicting slow poisonous mental torture on Sanam to break her self respect completely.
A time will come when he will have insulted her so badly that noone will think of respecting her.
Even in IPKKND, mamiji continued to call Khushi'phati Saari' it was such a cheap nickname. None of them would ever tolerate Anjali being called that way, but because Arnav disrespected Khushi, everyone did the same. Ditto Payal

Aahil might be able to bring back Sanam in his life. Afterall according to him she has no self respect. So she will get a good life until she does something again to be treated like a doormat.

But I am now worried about Sanam 2. everyone has seen her at wedding reception. she has been introduced as new begum. Perhaps people will not question this as they will think Aahil has lost interest in his earlier wife and hence married a new one who also happens to have the same name.
Then what? Will she be the new naukrani after Aahil has patched up with Sanam1? will Sanam2 be thrown out of the house? or divorced and given some money?

Lovely Post mandy.
Ahil is throwing a boomerang at sanam, little does he know that the boomerang is gonna come back to hit him.
Each of his accusation is gonna be back at him, for answers.
The truth is that Sanam has answers to all his questions, but when Sanam begins her questioning, he will not have any answers.

He is calling her "BEwaffa", the truth is that he has gone and gotten married to another woman.
Now he is not ready to give her a chance to defend herself, maybe when his accusations backfire, she may not accept his apology.

Everyone is enjoying the current crap that ARI is throwing at Sanam on the premise that one day he will repent.
I could sign-off my Gucci perfume that Aahil will repent for not more than 10 secs before they become all one big happy family.
The eternal sufferer here is only Sanam. She alone will suffer. Its easy to say to walk out, but most victims of abuse specially if it is from your spouse do not take this drastic step until they are cornered.
I specially hate that everyone ends up pitying Sanam, Lateef, Rehan, Seher, new Sanam... and will the dignitaries of Bhopal be also added to this list?
How difficult it would be for Seher to come out and tell it all? Why are they banking on Aahil remaining true to Sanam1? what if he goes ahead and consumates this new wedding? We know he wont... but why are SaSe so sure? what if new Sanam becomes preganant. then what option will Sanam have but to divorce or stay away from Aahil for life. She sure is too upright to not go into the murky waters of real polygamy.
Frankly for me, even Sanam's fight for her love of Aahil seems a little in the grey side. She is his wife of yester days... but if she succeeds in winning back Aahil the life of new Sanam would be murky.
I would have really liked for Sanam to just conc on revenge and leave.
But I disagree with all who feel Sanam 2 will ever have a chance still. If Aahil can't love Sanam1. He is not capable of loving anyone else.

BOld: Urggg I hate this so much...specially Seher and Rehan are really sad caricatures character wise when compared to Sanam. BOth are way worse than EVEN the current Ahil...

Rehan is still much more of a mama's boy than even Ahil to TBH as he is hiding a really dark secret that is the main evil in this whole drama, and Seher is a selfcentered, and selfish character who thinks of herself as such a bindass full of courage while she is standing back and watching after effing it up to hell and back for Sanam.😡
BOth are NOT standing up for justice and dishonorable when standing back and watching others life being turned upside down because of their silence whereelse Ahil is doing what ever he is doing while being in the dark...

Neither of these characters can hold a candle to Sanam and seeing them doling out pity to her is a sick joke by the cvs...

Frankly, I hate sympathy for Sanam. specially from liars and people who hide such big truths.
How difficult is it for Rehan to put 2 and 2 together? Ahil thinks the world of his Ammi, but not Rehan. He knows her true colors. He knows how badly she can scheme.
Still he will keep quiet. Why can't he atleast threaten his own mum" I'll tell all your secrets whichever you shared with me if you do not set everything right for Aahil and Sanam, since I know it is you who is behind this nonsense?"
And yes I agree that Rehan and Seher have really low honesty levels. All they do is offer tiny solace. but when it comes to wearing the armour and going out to face the swords, they hide behind...
Seher's bravado is all false and based on cursing and swearing. till now there has been no single battle she has won. If the swap had not happened Sanam's hold on Aahil would have been stronger, his mom's hold weaker and Aahil would have slowly started walking without a crutch. Atleast he and Sanam are honest. Seher still does not realise her folly, nor is ashamed of anything.
