Why else will he want to humiliate his wife in front of family and friends. I hate that Lateef to this date does not respect Sanam like a begum. All because Aahil never made anyone respect her. And now again she will be disrespected. The whole of Bhopal will know Aahil is married to 2 Sanams and one of the Sanams is the servant and is made to dance in a 'bhari mehfill'.

there is no pain or regret in his eyes. Just curosity if what he did was heartbreaking enough. I think we all must know that a man who insults you is certainly not doing it out of love. Aahil's plans are all calculated and measured. Not done in a fit of anger.

What is classic Aahil? Classic Abuser? Mostly they want their victims to stay in front of them to suffer endlessly, beg for mercy while they enjoy the view. At present he looks like that.

I did not see any regret in his eyes. Or is it coz KV has forgotten how to act?

For now, only Rehan-Seher and Rahat-Haya have a healthy relationship. Rehan -Seher will have to come to terms with each other's treachery and they alone will sort it out like 2 loved ones should. Ditto with Rahat-Haya. See how they sorted out their own problems themselves. Now thats a hero.

No Woman must think that a man loves her when he is behaving like Aahil is behaving with Sanam. Period. It is not love. If Sanam has some sense she must quickly run for her life. Save herself while she can revenge and Ahil be damned. Remorseless sister be damned.

I pretty much agree with all comments made so far. Be it for or against Aahil. It is true that his behavior is abusive. I never refuted that. All I was trying to do was understand why he would act this way! He was shown right from the start as someone who had an attitude problem. But he was never totally unreasonable. Like when he accused Sanam of drugging him to know the truth about his Dad and then he tried to drink? Sanam told him off, and then he thought she was leaving and he freaked out, and apologized to her!

Now where is THAT Sanam and Aahil? WHY the Hell is Sanam not opening her mouth and telling him the truth? Why is she not reacting? What the H is wrong with her, that she would take this crap from him NOW, when she never did in the past? Is THIS how your supposed to act once you accept you are in love with someone? I suppose to a certain degree Yes! See, when you are in the thick of it, and your emotions are involved, your fear of losing the person you love, is paramount to you! Sanam knows Aahil has misunderstood her. She knows he is being brainwashed by Tanveer. She loves him and she wants to SAVE him! Every women has this problem to some degree when she falls in love with a difficult and troubled man! THIS is what Sanam is doing right now. In her quest to save Aahil, she is SELF destructing. Trust me it happens! It takes you awhile to realize this, but once you DO, some sort of self preservation will kick in, and you will tell yourself NO more! Sanam will get there too. Hopefully sooner than later!

But Sanam in herself is a strong person, but Aahil is emotionally weak and this is his way of revenging himself on the person that hurt him. He is just lashing out, and not thinking of the consequences. Like ASR and the "Farak track!" It was almost too painful to watch how he was trying to torture Khushi into admitting she CARED that he was getting engaged to someone else. All because HE admitted that he cared that SHE got engaged to someone else. He couldn't stand to be vulnerable and exposed, so he HAD to make her admit that she felt the same. But in the end, he himself had to backtrack, coz he started to lose the will to hurt her. He was not enjoying it anymore.

This is the full on Psych drama that 4 Lions is really good at! They didn't have an intense jealousy track for Asad and Zoya. But from get go, they had it for SAHIL. First with Rehaan, and now with Sanam 2, not to forget the brief role played by Nida in their love saga as well! That is why I said, HE will crack first, coz the emotionally weaker person always cracks first. Soon he himself wont have the stomach for this anymore. Because the truth is, Aahil is NOT an abusive guy. He may be arrogant, misguided, and a bit on the nose. But he was never shown as calculating and going out of his way to hurt people. He was almost unguarded in his reactions sometimes. Unlike ASR, he was never calculating. So if ASR was not able to handle his "Faraking" then I don't think Aahil can for long!

I read your thread and found it very good. I although have not much to add as I am not as bright as others here.LOL

But I like that new Sanam. most Zee shows are infamous with man having mutiple partners as options.

I am not very convinced by Aahil's love for Sanam1. So probably there is chance for Sanam2? I did feel he looked for more than a few moments at her as she walked into the hall.

Thanks for your comment! I have not seen the episode today, so can't comment on if Aahil was staring at Sanam 2 or not? Maybe he was just reacting to her changed appearance? I dont know. But sorry, I can NEVER like Aahil and Sanam 2. One, coz this marriage was a Con and Aahil never even consented to it in the first place. He didn't even know who he was consenting to!

Also, whatever his feelings for Sanam 1, he will never fall in love with Sanam 2. If what he felt for Sanam 1 was not love, then this new women has NO hope in Hell of gaining anything more than passing interest from Aahil. The sort of interest he used to give women in his life in the past, before he fell in love with Sanam 1. SO short answer, NO, I dont like Aahil and Sanam 2, and never will!

I really needed to collect my thoughts to reply. Then I read all the views here.

So from all that I have read, One thing is common - We ALL want him to suffer. Hell yeah! So if we want him to suffer in the end, and if he is doing all these mistakes and being an asshole which will lead him to that suffering, why are we cribbing about that?😆

He is such a complex characters. You think you understand them how they are and how they would behave but the fact is there is always a point when they would turnaround 360 deg when some major thing would happen.

Likewise, There were two major turnarounds that happened to him too.

First was THAT NIGHT when she clung on to him for her life, he had a life changing experience and which turned him to a person even he din't know that existed in him.. He turned into a new leaf..

Second was THIS. When she ran away on their wedding day. He couldn't believe she whom he saved, or to say as in it was HE who was saved, she would run away from him at that day when they would be starting their new life, when it came to commitment. I guess he turned back into what he was earlier, before THAT NIGHT..

Clearly, he THOUGHT it was SHE who was the un-commiting type

He is the WEAKER person here. Coz we all know how it all began. First he acted like a jerk and the gave into his feelings FIRST. This is the same time of year I guess, he would act as a jerk, and then it would be HE only to give in to his feelings first...

But he is NOT an abuser. A person who was a victim of mental and physical abuse, sure had been a traumatised person and this we all got to see in his initial days. Even then, when SHE slapped him he had his own way to reciprocate it. Burning her Dhaba. The mental abuse left a greater impact on him rather than the physical..

It was SHE who always controlled him. Whether it was about his feelings for her, whether it was about the woman-handling part, she always dominated him. Actually sometimes I think, its a Dominant and Submissive type of relation..😆

I am waiting for the Third major turnaround, something big that would make him realise what he was doing..it has to be something BIG. And I am really looking forward to that, coz THIS needs some REAL BIG DEAL.

Such complex characters really need a BIG thing to make them realise what their true feelings are. It is comprised of constant push and pull of feelings, denial and ignorance, till they lose it and have to give in.

Mandy, I think the main problem here is that the Ahil that was presented till the swap track is a different version from what he is today...the cvs in their quest for drama have committed so many crimes in butchering this character that now it has been twisted into something more darker.

The Ahil before the swap, was developed beautifully and every aspect of his character adds up. However currently its like another version of how an abused and psychologically disturbed kid could turn out as an adult...The former was an example of how a unique and good character could still come forth from someone that had gone through so much psychological damage...and currently it is an example of a slightly darker verson of a person Ahil could have turned out to be given his past...

ASR's character never made sense to me given that he had such a loving and disciplined nani and sister to provide him with guidance.even given that his parents committed suicide when he was 16?...neither his rudeness towards the servants or his hatred for falling in love with a poor girl like Kushi made sense to be...BUt I loved the character sketch of pretty much everyone in that serial and even the drama it provided, and of course the best onscreen chemistry between the leads to date after Sahil...
STILL EVEN ASR never behaved this badly with Khushi AFTER he admitted to himself that he loved Kushi and accepted her even though he was under the impression that she was having an affair with Shiyam...His humiliation of Kushi was private behind closed doors after that.
Before the swap Ahil has already overcome all these phases in their relationship and they were at a stage where even if something like this had happened, he would have had this attempt at pay back privately behind closed doors till he is done with the initial anger and acting out..just like ASR...

BUT this Ahil humiliated Sanam so badly infront of family AND the servants that it is hard to believe that someone who loves somebody could actually do this...this is not the same Ahil that we were presented with prior to the swap and there is no question about it...

Ahil's character WAS so beautifully and sensibly developed that it pulled me so much and that is the reason that I am still giving cvs a chance to ratify their mistake and bring him back...because I know this is a drama and cvs do crazy things sometimes even at the expense of butchering characters, but this PH did not go to this extent with any of their former heroes...
Sometimes I feel that they are deliberately doing this to KV for some reason...????

I just don't want Sanam to lose her self-respect. It would be AWESOME if she can present him with divorce papers rather than being ridiculously naive. It is her blind faith in Aahil that is allowing Aahil to torture her more. Gul Khan always promotes the wrong ideology that is torture the girl and abuse her to death but she will still run after you as she is a girl and he is a guy at the end of the day. Gul's portrayal of her heroine's post falling in love is absolutely PATHETIC!

Seher needs to be slapped followed by Aahil as they BOTH refuse to treat humans like they should be treated once they go into depression or start brooding over some personal issue. Sanam should give a piece of her mind to BOTH that twin and this jerk of a husband.

As far as ghar ki izzat is concerned, Aahil should learn to respect himself first before he thinks of his family's izzat. Once he learns self-respect, respect for other's including his family will come automatically.

Due to lack of self-respect he is accepting a CON marriage just to make Sanam jealous by getting cosy with sanam 2. Now in a fit of rage he will declare to the world that he has married ANOTHER sanam. I wonder how hard people will laugh when they come to witness his change in commitment due to sudden mood swings and situations? All I can say is GET A GRIP AAHIL and USE that cerebral cortex to think because it was given to you by ALLAH to USE not to ABUSE.

Right now he is going overboard with his OTT emotional tantrums which is why his mind is EMPTY and an empty mind is often classified as the workshop of the DEVIL.

So far the only person who deserves to be called a MAN in Ibrahim Mansion is REHAN.

Sorry to say but a man without a spine and self-respect deserves to be put into the other category of "mard" which is not woman by the way...it is "na mard."

No offence to Aahil fans but this is the limit.

Right now Aahil is too illogical and difficult to connect with. Koi isko jaake almond milk pilaye. Ho sakta hai upon drinking Almond milk, the process of neurogenesis will restart in his brain and it will regain its neurons that Aahil killed by excessive drinking?
