Lara has more class and intelligence and reason she beat her and went to the miss universe contest and won!!..as miss universe contest more prestigious and the winner goes to that contest and 1st runner up competes in miss world, but yes it was an achievement that she won miss world outta the other contestants!! Though aish is the prettiest indian to compete in miss world and win!!

Priyanka was not bad-looking when she won, infact she was good as any other winner that we have, its only Aishwarya who is a beauty class-apart, she is an exception!

Compared to everyone else besides Ash, Priyanka is matchable.

Its not only about looks, Priyanka is very eloquent and speaks very well (at least back then) her and Lara were both very confident and headstrong girls.

I cant believe its been 15 years and we haven't had a new Miss World/Universe from India

Not everyone who wins Miss World or these beauty pageants are drop dead gorgeous. I see some of the winners and am like how the hell is she considered beautiful? PC's face was average even back then. To be honest, PC was not a good speaker either. Lara was so much better than her. PC was so awkward and fake. And she wasn't really confident either.

Only because Aish is a Miss World , it doesnt mean being drop dead beautiful is the only criteria that qualifies you for the title , there are other factors too & its only fair that way..
