I think Anita killed her husband and Vijay helped her in the murder .

no..i don't think Vijay is Raffe's dad...i think he was a PI whom Anjali hired years ago...they must have found out something terrible which was putting Anjali and Raffe's life in danger...i think Vijay helped them escaped and made their disappearance seemed to be that of death in a car explosion...Raffe's dad could have been part of the thing that Anjali/Vijay found out or he was already dead at the time when they escaped...

The basic story that I've been able to understand is that Anita was dead-scared of something and that's why she had to escape with Raffe in the dead of night. The fact that she changed cars in the middle probably says it's someone close to her. Maybe her husband has been killed or maybe he's the one who tried to kill her. The way she talked to Vijay says that Vijay is someone who either helped her, is close to her, or both. But he isn't her husband else she would have no reason to hide that from Raffe. No she's hiding something bigger from Raffe.
