Why is Pari criticised for playing bubbly characters but not Anushka?

Why is Parineeti Chopra constantly criticised for playing the bubbly, girl next door? She hasn't been around in the industry for very long and the media is already writing about how she keeps repeating herself.

Even Anushka isn't versatile and pretty much does the same kind of roles again and again. Both are good actresses and do full justice to their roles, but haven't gone out of their comfort zones.

So why is Anushka, who has been around for 6 years in the industry, let off lightly?

Rab ne Bana di Jodi or Patiala House were not bubbly characters. She hasn't done that many more movies than Parinneti.but I feel she is much versatile than Pari.

Anushka too has been questioned about it. I remember her defending herself on masand's show during matru promotions. It's just that she has been off the radar for some time and just come back where work is concerned, plus , she has been in news for other things- lips, virat etc.

1. Anushka has a better body and is tall (only 3 main tall actresses-deeps, anushka, sonam) so thats an advantage

2. Anushka can play sexy and glamourous roles (which i guess pari hasn't managed yet)

3. Anushka is attempting to break out from the bubbly image...from her movie line up

If u r talking abt Criticized by forum ppl, then pari just needs to hang out with the same friend circle with which anu usually does these days, then criticism for pari too will stop here...

I like anu n pari...but if one has to be chosen on acting then its pari...

Because she works mostly with superstars. So the fans of those superstars don't criticize her; sometimes they even defend her.

True Anushka lacks versatility, and it was discussed here but then Pari came and took it to a whole new level and stole the thunder of Anushka.

Anu is in demand and getting many high profile projects. Pari has no films so she's on the radar. She had to face the same kind of criticism before. And I feel she will be playing something different in BV and NH 10.
