Only 2 weeks of EHT left.

We need to make farewell thread.

Sanjeeda's birthday is also coming up on same day as day of last episode of EHT.

Should we have two separate threads?

Or a combo celebration thread to mark both occasions?

Please also suggest ideas what to include in each thread and who will take up work on each section.

We have very little time left and members are also either busy or less active these days.

I also request, if people can make time then please make your index. It would be nice way to organise threads. Active topic makers like Debbie, Shrutiravi, Dolly, Dabhlover, natville25, Mona and others please do compile links of all your threads in your own index threads if possible. If there's no time then okay but it was just a suggestion after seeing index threads on other forums.

Please chip in ideas and those who are willing to contribute please do come forward.

Hi Anu ,

I think we have 2 threads and run it parallely . One the farewell thread and other being sanjeeda sheik birthday thread .

For farewell thread , i have a few suggestions :

1. Brief summary of what EHT is about .

2. Introduction of the characters , cast and crew , their trademark attitude and behaviour .

3. Collage,posters of each episodes till now with a brief write up below it .

4. The awards won by them .

5. Tweets , pics and other things shared by the celebs can be posted here .

6. All interviews in connection with EHT .

7. Thanking the producers , writers and the other behind the scenes .

8. Also include thanks to the beautiful writers here .

9 . An award thread was already opened by debby so we can it merge into farewell thread . Maybe include awards to the writers here too for contributing and making EHT so lively .

That's it i cant think of anything else now ... I dont know how to make indexes , but i will contribute to the threads .

Once everyone pour in their ideas/suggestions/comments we can pick up volunteers doing each section in both the threads, that is if we end up making 2 threads. .

BTW , do we need to take mods permission for farewell thread too ?

We always used to take permission in DKDM and MP forum for any thread. I feel it's better to take permission from DT and it helps avoid problems later.

Even I don't know how to make index so sorry

Anu we can just put links of some posts in the farewell thread , posts where a whole lot of us contributed such as KK, memes thread, caption the pic contests . The links will take the reader to the thread . The links can be placed at appropriate positions .

But one person collating everything will be time consuming na what do we do about that ?

I don't know how will it go.

I am also contributing in DKDM farewell thread and past experience in 100 epi thread and Simone bday thread tells celebration threads are damn time consuming.

I can only do write ups but visuals etc have to be done by volunteers. For write ups also I need help especially in encapsulating whole serial's story.

i am ready to help u with the write ups .

Better assign a person for each category who will collate the messages . The people who collate can discuss how the thread will be presented .The order of appearing in the thread . For ex - 1 person will be incharge of images and videos , another for social n/w site messages , write up's and so on .

Instead of 1 person collating the entire lot , turns can be taken to do this . Like if we want to put a brief summary of eht first and Anu, if u are doing it ..u will do only the summary and we will send you pm's regarding only that . Once your task is done , you will pass on the torch to the next person who will do the next , probably images . But the order of posting should be fixed beforehand or else it will lead to confusion .

No rule that one person should do only one task ..if they are willing for more than one also it would be helpful .

I hope i got my point across .
