Part - 17
That evening...
Maan comes home earlier that evening thinking that KM will be all his, free from any intruders...
And Maan had never stepped into the OH since Geet took over it...
He had some work long pending and he decides that he will finish it off today...
Maan still couldn't believe Geet has left, he has this feeling that she is somewhere near him...
Yes, Maan is right, Geet paas ho aur Maan pehechana nahi, aaisa kabhi ho saktha hai kya?
Geet is also not aware of Maan's early return and she is chilling out in the balcony...
She is enjoying the cool breeze and the moonlit sky...
She is happy after a long time, she is hopeful that her life has changed for the better and it's now up to her to use this unfortunate turning of events for her good, babaji has shown the path and she has to follow it, follow her dreams to complete her graduation and settle in a good job...
As MSK always says Geet has to become independent...
As Geet is thinking about her future she hears foot steps and immediately recognized that it's DD...
She runs fast to get to her room but she couldn't...Maan has already climbed up and is nearing her...Geet hides under the table quickly...
She thought Maan would get some files and leave...she can come out then...
Just as she guessed Maan switches on the light and takes some files...
But instead of leaving he sits on the tab;e and starts doing his job there itself...
He has this strange feeling that Geet is very close to him...
Geet is very nervous and she keeps praying to her babaji to save her from DD...
Maan stretches his legs and hits Geet...
Geet chilathi...dadiii
Maan quickly pulls her out and shuts her mouth...
Maan looks into her beautiful eyes...
Geet is scared...
Maan is shocked to see her there...
Maan: tum?
Geet: aap itne raat ko boot ki tarah kyun darathe ho?
Maan: kya? meinne tumme daraya hai?
Maan shouts...
Geet: aur nahi toh kya? kyun chilathe ho?
Maan: mein chilatha hoon?
He stares Geet and moves forward warning her...
Geet steps back and Maan corners her...
Geet is caught between his broad shoulders...she has no escape...
Geet keeps looking into his eyes...
She could find them searching for something from her...what's that he is looking for?
Maan is deprived of love and what else does he need? He has all the luxuries but true love...
Maan: tum yahan kaise?
Geet: mein yahi rehthi hoona?
Maan: what? tum Munshiji ke saath kyun nahi gayi?
Geet: dadi ne kaha kuch din unke saath rahoon
Maan: Dadi ne aaisa kyun kaha?
Geet: bechare dadi, itne bade ghar mein akhele rehthe haina?
Maan couldn't control his anger...what does she mean?
Maan: akhele rehthe? MSK tumme dikayi nahi detha?
Geet: haan, par aap
Maan: mein kya insaan nahi hoon?
Geet: mujhe kyun poochthe ho? aapko shak hai toh doctor ke paas jao
Maan: Geeet
Geet runs away...
Maan goes to dadi and warns her that Geet should not stay here even a day longer, she should leave KM on Sunday...
Dadi thanks Maan for letting Geet stay till Sunday...
Dadi will come out with a plan then...
Dadi wants Geet to stay at home, along with Dadi and Maan forever, haina?...
That's how Dadi could implement her next mission...mission Maneet milan...
And what's the problem in Geet's staying at KM...Dadi ko bhi company miljayega...
But Maan is very stuborn, he would never let Geet stay with him at KM...'he knows the consequences very well...he's already been affected by her presence so much that he's not able to control his mind anymore...
Though Dadi could use her sentiment attack Maan wouldn't buy it...
Dadi's next choice is Geet...Dadi can easily fool Geet...
But Geet is too innocent and she doesn't know our cunning Dadi's intentions, she believes in Dadi's words and respects Dadi very much...and she has become fond of Dadi too...
One day dadi and Geet are watching their favorite Salman movie and dadi pretends to be too tired...
Geet notices dadi's sad face and is worried...
Geet: dadima, kya hua? Aap pareshaan lag rahe ho?
Dadi: kuch nahi bete, hum thoda tak gaye hai, hum jaake aaram karthe
Dadi leaves to her room,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Geet is also not interested in the movie anymore and she follows dadi...
She helps Dadi lie down and she sits beside Dadi...
And the drama queen starts her performance...
Dadi: Geet, aapko dekhke humme Ranno ki yaad aagayi
Geet is bowled over by the first ball itself...mother sentiment...
Dadi: aap toh bilkul apne maa ki tarah hi ho, jab hum Hoshiarpur mein thejan bhi aapke dadaji kahin bahar jaathe the Ranno hi hamehsa hummare saath rehthi, bilkul aapke tarah
Geet starts thinking about the past...ranno serving dadi...
That's somewhat true...but dadi adds some melodrama too...
Dadi: agar aap kal chale jaathe toh kaun hummara khyaal rakega
Geet: par dadi, mein yahan nahi reh sakthi
Dadi: kyun nahi bete?
Geet: woh mein kaise?
Dadi: agar Ranno aaj yahan hothi toh woh humme kabhi akhele chodke nahi jaathi
Geet thinks maybe her mother would want Geet to stay with dadi and take care of dadi...
Dadi thinks that it's the right time for the next scene to unfold...the climax...
Guess what? suddenly Dadi falls sick...she is feeling guiddy and complains of chest pain...
All these drama happens only after Maan left and Geet is very tensed...
She has to inform Maan, but she doesn't lnow his no...
She asks Dadi to give Maan;s no so that she can call Maan...
But then dadi's plan will flop, Dadi asks Geet that she should be calling the doctor instead...
Geet too thinks that it's better to call the doctor first...
She immediately calls the doctor...Dadi gves her the doctor's no. too...
Dadi ka drama hai, doctor bhi dadi ka choice ka hi hoga, haina?
That doctor comes and examines Dadi for more than an hour...
Geet stands there thinking about Maan's eractions...
He will definitely blame Geet and she has to face his rage again for no fault of hers...
He wiil come and ask her why she didn't inform him earlier...
Poor Geet, she panics and doesn't know what to do?
She is confused whether to ask dadi Maan's no again or not...
Geet then asks Dadi again that they should inform Maan...
Dadi asks her not to disturb Maan...
Geet is worried and she keeps lloking at the doctor itself...
Doctor pretends well as though the matter is very serious...
He looks at dadi, then looks at Geet, then he adjusts his glasses like a typical filmy doctor...
Dadima, this is not fair, poor Geet trusts you so much and you are cheating an innocent girl...
But Dadi could never convince Maan to let Geet stay back, and now she is using Geet so that Maan could not deny this time, dadi knows very well Geet would never listen to Maan...
Geet always does the opposite of what Maan says...
Maan would come and say that he will take care of his dadi, Geet will say that if he took care of dadi then why did dadi fall sick?
Maan is the cause of all the trouble and she can't leave dadi with Maan...
Our dadi is too smart , haina?
Dadi is thinking about Maneet encounter while the doctor finishes his act...
Atlast the doctor advices Dadi to take complete rest and tells Geet that Dadi should never be left alone for it's too risky in this condition for her to take care of herself...
He asks Geet to stay by her side and see that she is not stressed at all...
Doctor ka kaam ho gaya, he has prescribed Geet as the medicine for dadi's cure...
Geet is convinced that Maan wouldn't take care of dadi, she has to help poor Dadi...
