manvi crossed her hands against her chest and leaned back into the bed.

" cmon yaar manvi... its not your first time... " said virat.

" so what...??? only the first time should be special...?? really...??? im also your second that ways... not so special... right...??? " said manvi giving virat a good come back.

" whaattt...??? " virat asked shockingly. he couldnt believe manvi brought that topic and intentionally or unintentionally taunted him.

" umm... i... i didnt... i didnt realise... it was... it was... " manvi fumbled.

virat got up and left the room, leaving manvi alone.

manvi played with her fingers and looked at her hands as if this was the most fascinating thing ever. she couldnt believe how... how the hell did she utter something like this... something which she herself wanted to forget... something which she had almost forgotten in these past years. she rose above all this... she rose above this reality... she accepted it and moved on with nothing against anyone in her heart. tears welled in her eyes and soon one tear rolled down manvi's cheek. manvi thought how cruel is life and destiny. one moment there is happiness all around and next moment all you can see is clouds of dullness, darkness and gloominess.

after an hour or so, manvi opened her eyes and realised that she dozed off while crying.

" its just the hormones... " said manvi in a irritated tone.

manvi looked around the room and on finding no trace of her loving husband, she got up from the bed, paced around the room for like 10 minutes. she thought of then calling virat and she dialled his number but as expected he didnt pick her call. manvi looked at her mobile with hatred and threw it on the wall; making the handset to shatter into pieces.

" he doesnt love me anymore... he hates me... " whispered manvi and lied on the bed; again crying buckets of tears.

virat was on the terrace looking up at the sky trying to forget what manvi said. he somewhat understand that it were the hormones talking not his manvi. his brain understood but his heart... his heart was hurt. whatever manvi said was somewhat true... manvi was his second wife but she is soo very special for him... he loves her a lot... he loves her more than anything... she is the reason why he is happy today... she is the reason why he is able to live his life like this... like a happy satisfied family man. manvi is the reason he has a family like this... manvi is the reason behind everything... his daughter... scratch that... their daughter. whatever kasak is today, its because of manvi... she taught her everything... she has been always there for her... and for him... and for his family...

" forget it virat... she didnt mean it..." he took a deep breath " go back to her... she needs to you... go virat " he said to himself.

virat came down the stairs and made his way to his room. he opened the door and saw manvi sleeping on the bed, so he closed the door behind him making minimal sound. virat made his way to the bed and sat on the floor on his knees and looked at manvi. there were tear strains on her beautiful face and it hurted virat more than anything. he again made her cry, though unintentionally. he brushed manvi's hair with his fingers and instantly a smile crept on manvi's face and her body relaxed. manvi opened her eyes and smiled at virat. virat held his eyes in apology; manvi did the same and then smiled at her husband.

" im sorry... i am such an idiot... sorry... " apologised manvi.

" no... i pushed you... " said virat sweetly.

" i overreacted... i should have listened to you atleast... you didnt ask me to follow it though... " replied manvi.

virat giggled and joined his hands in front of manvi.

" manvi the great... i dow down to you... " virat said controlling his laughter.

" greattt... but seriously lemme keep the fast... " said manvi.

" manvi... you can stay hungry.. i know that... but why do you want our little one to starve... usko toh bhukhi lagegi na... aur if mumma will not eat so how will the baby get food... " virat told manvi.

" you know what virat... you are right... no fasting... it is granted if one is pregnant... right...??? " said manvi.

" yes... yes... absolutely... "

" now come here and hug me you idiot... mujhe bahut tang kia tumne... " said manvi.

" haawww... me jhoothi...??? no ways... " said manvi shifting on her side of the bed.

" manvi ji wins... no matter what... i know... " said virat settling on the bed and wrapping manvi in his arms.

" it will be strange but no thanks... i dont need a demonstration... im fine... " said virat holding manvi's finger from making circles on his chest.

" no... get lost... " naina shushed maan away.

naina turned around and didnt bother replying.

" its our first karwachauth... but never mind... " maan said it aloud and switched off the light.

naina immediately got up and switched on the light.

" karwachauth... yeahhh " yelled naina.

" there is no need to yell nain... get up and take a bath... " said maan.

" bath...??? maan its 5 am... " said naina in an surprising tone.

" you have to get freshen up... get ready and then stuff yourself with food... " replied maan in one breath.

manvi ate the sargi vanshika prepared and took some of it to her room.

" viru... get up no... " said manvi.

" hmm... "

" i brought sargi for you... you really like it na... " said manvi knudging virat.

" yeahhh..." virat said getting up and opened his mouth.

manvi made virat eat the sargi and then hugged him keeping her head on his chest. they enjoyed the moment of silence and wished that they could like that for ever and ever.

" its nain's first karwachauth... lets call them... " manvi suggested.

" its almost 6 am... should we...?? " asked virat being unsure.

" yeah yeah... now its my brother's house... " said manvi happily.

" but i need your mobile... " said manvi.

" my mobile... where is yours...??? " asked virat.
