History repeating itself

History is repeating itself...in the form of Aditi. Urmi was abused at the hands of Samrat & received no support from her in-laws, or direct family for that matter. She was left all alone with a son to take care of. Today Aditi is suffering a similar fate.

Heartless Samrat threw his pregnant sister out of the house with no one daring to oppose him simply out of fear. They didn't want to be thrown out because they love their cushy lives!
Just like Urmi, Aditi is all alone & has to take care of the child in her womb. Although Urmi's mother, sister & brother have sympathised with her, they ultimately failed her for not rallying behind her, & for giving in to Daadi's crappy thoughts. So really, there isn't much of a difference between Aditi & Urmi.

Both women were also foolish...gave too many chances to men that were unworthy of their love. They made some wrong choices. But neither of them deserve the treatment that was given to them. No one does.

Aditi & Urmi both are victims of Samrat & his ego. He wanted to dictate both women in his life. And both women were failed by family. Tragic.

Good point. However, I feel Urmi is/was stronger than Aditi, at least from what we've been shown. Aditi lived a pampered life provided by her brother Samrat, whereas Urmi is from a middle-class family. Urmi faced a lot worse than Aditi because although Amrit is a scumbag, at least he is the weasel type, whereas Samrat is a raging maniac. Samrat did not control Aditi as much as he did Urmi although we saw how he tried to have his way with her future. Urmi he beat black and blue for a simple thing whereas he slapped and kicked out Aditi with no intention of seeking revenge. If only Urmi was so lucky to be left alone by Samrat. Neither Amrit nor Samrat will trouble Aditi now. Her only challenge is survival whereas for Urmi was survival plus escaping Samrat's grasp.

I agree with u...Urmi is indeed much stronger than Aditi & she's had to face a great deal more than her. Of course Samrat & Amrit cannot be compared because Samrat is a monster. Amrit is simply a liar & a cheater.

@bold: very true. Samrat did tell her that u are dead for me now. But with Urmi, it's different. He's after her like a man posessed. Even Amrit will not return now that he has money.

The reason why I was making the comparison is because Samrat has abused both ladies (of course Urmi's case was far worse) & both women have spineless parents. But I completely agree with u that it was far worse for Urmi. No doubts about that. And she is resilient. I doubt if Aditi has the same courage.

Urmi would have been able to support herself and Shaurya by working. She found a job yet was made to be fired by Samrat. Urmi's brother lost his job because of Samrat and she was blamed by her Dadi and father. You have to be psychologically very strong to handle all of that.

On topic, maybe Aditi will come to live with Urmi at Sushma's place. Oh boy, for a woman who was bitter only a few weeks ago, she sure is receptive of so many of Urmi's guests in her home 😆

That's why I want Aditi to find where Urmi is living. Urmi will be a great help to her and maybe Aditi can work with Urmi. Urmi is the best person to help Aditi because Urmi has seen it all, lived it all, experienced it all and those experiences has made her into the strong independent woman that she is today. Aditi can learn from Urmi, to not let situations or circumstances make you bitter or weak but to make you better and stronger.

Yes I agree. Urmi tried her best to find a job in order to secure her & Shaurya's future. But every time she made progress, Samrat would be waiting round the corner, ready to bring her down. Indeed one has to be mentally strong to handle such set backs. At the start of the serial, many people considered Urmi to be weak. But she has proven to be a very resilient young woman.

Even I was thinking that Aditi might join Urmi...funny to see how things have changed for Sushma ji 😆

So true.

If Aditi stays with Urmi, it will do her a lot of good. Right now Aditi is a broken woman. She's probably not even thinking straight. But Urmi can give her emotional support. Urmi has been through a far more difficult phase but survived it. So can Aditi.
