Everest - Star Plus and Ashutosh Gowariker's Everest is a new addition to the list of the channel's prime time fiction. The show deals with a young girl's dream of conquering the height of Mount Everest. Her father, who also happens to be an army officer lives with the regret of having a daughter instead of a son who can't fulfill his wishes. Unable to take her father's rejection, she decides to reach the top of the mountain only to get a place in her father's heart again. For Indian television, Everest surely is a different approach and deals with a versatile subject. Not to mention the cinematography of the show has been fabulous so far in the outdoor location shoots.
